This kit was on sale for $15, and for that price, it far exceeded expectations. The wood is thick, all the components are good quality, and the printing and design make for a beautiful end result. This is not one of those book nook kits where everything snaps together with that satisfying click—there is a lot of gluing needed to put this together. That said, it was a simple, easy build, the instructions made sense, the electrical components were basically plug and play. I completed it in one evening, aside from one or two key “waiting for glue to dry” moments. I am very happy with the end result, it looks much more expensive than it was, and is a gorgeous design.

I wanted to add a little decor to my bookcase and this was perfect. You will need a good wood glue and a little patience.

First time trying this and I had so much fun building this. I love it, the small pieces are so cute. I just want to buy more now.

I mixed this kit with another to create an upstairs scene for the little free gallery we host. We get compliments on it all the time, it brings a smile to many faces walking by. The gallery was hard to keep stocked so this was our solution to ensure there would always be something to look at when people stop by. It has been up for a couple of months in rainy weather and sun and looks just as good as when I first made it. (we added clear coat and a plexiglass cover for further protection)The making took about two weeks of free time. It's a lot of cutting and folding of little bits of paper. Would recommend!

Took about 3 weeks to complete. I customized a few things:1) the wire for the swing didn't look right, so I used an old necklace chain instead.2) added a picture of our cat in one of the picture frames.3) the cat knocking over the flower pot.Over all I am quite pleased with the kit, but I will warn you...have a lot of patience..trust me you will need it.
