Orthodontic Wax for Braces

Perfect wax not to hard not to soft, kinda expensive if you need to use a lot like I do.

This wax is horrible!! I like the wax my ortho gave me. It is a harder wax, but that is a good thing. You work the wax between your fingers and make it pliable. This wax is SO THIN! It may be easier to pull apart and shape, but it literally falls to pieces in my mouth/braces! It is seriously as annoying as eating a piece of gum with braces, and then learning it wasn't sugar free and you have to spend an hour trying to pull all the little pieces out!!! Seriously! Who does this wax work for?? I need my ortho wax to come out in 1 piece! And when you try to stick it to your brackets it does not want to, because it is so thin. When you push it up against your brackets it just falls apart like Play-Doh! Harder wax actually forms a protective barrier, keeping your gums free from irritation. I hate leaving poor reviews, but I really hope no one with braces buys this and has to experience this!

This wax is amazing. I just got aligners from Smile Direct Club and after three days, my mouth was in so much pain. I tried filing the aligners and it didn’t not work. I had to take out my bottom set because part of it had made a huge slice into the side of my mouth. This wax was my last ditch effort before I gave up entirely and it is amazing. I just put this on the parts of my aligners that cut into me and I have zero pain. After 1 day, the slice cut into my mouth is gone. I probably use too much wax and think it’s obvious my mouth has bulges from it but no one has noticed at all. Even when I point it out to people they still don’t see it. I have to replace the wax every time I take my aligners out to eat but it’s so easy to put back on that I’m not complaining. I would absolutely recommend this product if you have aligners and I could see how helpful it would be with traditional braces.

I just got clear, adult braces that have completely sliced my entire mouth. I tried the GUM brand wax but I didn't like how hard it was. Since my teeth were sore, it really hurt to press on hard, tough wax. I'm SO happy I decided to try this brand. It's much more pliable than stuff you find in the drugstores. Secret...if you put the case in your pocket 5-10 mins before applying. It gets even softer and easier to apply (especially to teeth that are already sensitive to the touch). It's a plus that this wax is not mint flavored like many other brands. I will be buying again!

Buying this was such a good idea. I just got invisalign last week and I've been struggling with the new lisp it gives me. I work in customer service and I have to talk all day so it was quite frustrating having all lisp and sometimes people wouldn't understand me. I bought this wax because of figured if I put some wax in the roof of my mouth to cover the slight gap between the invisalign tray and the roof of my mouth,you "s"s will come out more clear. (When I say "s"s, the air goes up in between the tray and the roof of my mouth instead of going out of my mouth so the noise is deadened). Putting the wax in the gap had worked wonders. I don't have to try so hard to make the "s" noise! So much easier!
