I developed vaginal atrophy after chemotherapy for breast cancer. Because of my breast cancer, I'm unable to use estrogen suppositories. For those that complained of some discharge after use, I suggest using a panty liner. It's completely worth it. Insertion is easy with or without an applicator, but I suggest remaining lying down completely still for at least 15 minutes after insertion. I've found that even pulling on my panties can cause it to slip out. I also find it's best used when I go to bed, so it has all night to work its wonders. ***VAGINAL ATROPHY SYMPTOMS GONE ***I was in serious pain and my doctor diagnosed me with Vaginal Atrophy. He prescribed a hormone cream and I freaked out and said no way am I gonna go that route with the possible side effects (even though he swore to me no cancer affects) I decided to pursue a natural alternative first and I’m so glad I did!! This product worked immediately! It’s best used at bedtime and you will have a little oily discharge the morning after but nothing too crazy. I had high hopes for this product and had no issues inserting it as instructed. In the morning after my first does of silk, I felt burning and extreme irritation that has lasted all day. I am assuming I am allergic to something in the product and will not continue to use it. I am so disappointed as it was expensive and I was really hoping for a better outcome.

I was having constant uti's for the past few years, I'm 58 and after being diagnosed with breast cancer at 49 and then being told to have my ovaries removed to I had everything taken out except my VA after that it was much to painful for any of that kind of fun! I’m excited about this product. It seems to be working. I did have problems at first and ended up with a UTI and that’s because it was a bit too strong for me. So after I cleared up the UTI I started using less than half a suppository. For the last couple of months it’s been working wonderful. Little by little I’ve increased the amount and now I’m almost up to a full suppository. I would highly recommend this product if you’re looking for something natural. I tried the patches - the estradiol cream/suppository and it worked havoc on my body (taking it for four months). My hair ended up falling out and they tried to diagnosed me with Hypothyroidism. Now that all the meds are out of my system I feel wonderful and no thyroid problems. If you are not your own advocate no one else will be. With all that said, really give this a try. A bit pricey but I understand. Thank you NeuEve for giving us women a healthy option.Would have given it five stars but: applying with fingers is hard - a bit pricey - other than that great product.
