Wonderful toy, excellent quality!!!

I have a ton of meerkats but THIS ONE IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! 💯 Very realistic and posable.

I got this for a school project for my son. It's the centerpiece of his Meerkat presentation, and it's perfect. The only way to make it more realistic looking would be to have it "stand" on its feet instead of "sit", but the pictures of "standing" meerkats I found for sale look far too fake.In spite of what an earlier review said, it WILL stand on its own, on flat or less-than flat platforms (it was shipped to my work address, so I had it sitting on my cubicle wall "guarding" my desk all day; for the project it's sitting on a small log).It appears to be durable. The arms (paws) are sewn to the body.

To be honest, I wanted this little guy because I'm from Africa & I love meerkats. I saw the product photo on Amazon, & fell in love! 🥰 The meerkat in the photo looked pretty realistic, especially the face. The meerkat that I received, was even more realistic. It was so realistic that a neighbor came to my door & saw the meerkat sitting on my portable DVD player & actually thought that I had a real live meerkat & was startled! Then I picked up the meerkat & let her have a closer look. She still thought it was real but thought that I got it from a taxidermist, until I turned it over & showed her the bottom, & she saw that it was a very realistic stuffed animal. The position of the arms is spot on! That is the way a real meerkat looks when sitting. I have been around real live meerkats & I have to say this meerkat even startles me when I first wake up in the morning! I absolutely love this meerkat. It even feels real when you touch it. What I don't like about it? There is nothing that don't like about this meerkat. I just can't think of a bad thing to say about it. You definitely get your money's worth if you buy this meerkat plush! I included photos to show you what I'm talking about. Sorry about the lighting. I'm not a professional photographer.

I keep him on my desk. So perfect. Looks real life.

It looked good

I thought this was pretty life like in fur texture with a sweet expression. I really liked the body posture. The angle and tilt of the head with the way the arms hang down at the sides look very meerkat-like. This was a gift for someone who really likes meerkats.
