I have been enjoying David Rio Chai for about 20 years and I feel it is the best available. It could be like the Ford and Chevy thing. I think David Rio offers the best flavors and they all mix easily with hot wate and half & half/or milk, if desired or tolerated.This comes in powder form. It makes a 'chai latte' and is creamy and smooth. The decaf Giraffe (the animal names are who they donate to with sales) is great, too. I prefer to buy it in bulk (this is about 65 cents a cup), I buy 2 at a time, and Amazon offers great prices, especially when shipping with Prime. Many espresso shops and drive-throughs use the 'David Rio' brand (or the Big Train brand, type). This usually comes with a measuring cup; one scoop per cup, more or less to the flavor you prefer, or you can use 3 tablespoons if they forgot a scoop (sometimes, but it is really not needed). Great product and price. I highly recommend this, use it with my Keurig to provide hot water, and I will buy it again. If you like the taste of a chai latte I think you will like this. Elephant is Vanilla flavored. Tiger is a little spicy. Giraffe is Decaf Vanilla Chai; great after 3 pm. Flamingo is sugar and fat-free, I do not like this one. I do not prefer the Tropical Mango (Toucan), too sweet for me. The Tortoise green tea is good, and I do like the Maple Moose. If you don't like the scoop or tablespoon you can pay a little more for premeasured packets. I hope this helps someone.

I love this chai and order it regularly! I enjoy it so much that I shipped one to my friend's house so we could have it while I was there. When I arrived to my friend's house I found that it was missing the brown lid that goes on top. This was a bummer because it meant we had to find a new container for it to be stored in. Not the biggest issue, but worth noting that you might need to find another container if this happens to you as well!

This is my favorite so I am beyond bias. I love that I can save money and make my chai tea at home instead of buying it. For my tea I add ice in a cup and then milk of your choice. Then I boil some water and in a separate cup I add the chai powder and a little water and I use my milk frother and blend it and add to my milk and ice. Yummy

This is definitely a very sweet drink, but not what I would consider a chai flavor. If you want a more vanilla flavored tea/latte, then this is your drink; if you're expecting the chai spice, you'll be sorely disappointed. Overall, the quality is good and it mixes well, but it was not the flavor I was hoping for.

I add 1 scoop to 4oz of coffee and 6oz of almond or coconut milk with a splash of heavy cream. This recipe is perfect for someone who wants to drink a little coffee but not taste it.😁 A warm creamy vanilla flavored drink that I look forward to each morning. I’ve tried different chai’s and this is the creamiest with the least calories and it also has natural ingredients.

In the absence of a Starbucks on every corner (the nearest being about 20 miles away) I've had to be creative about getting my daily cup of chai. This is nowhere near as spicy as a SBucks chai (Tazo concentrate), but it is nice, sweet & vanilla-y. I mix it with a spiced chai powder (different brand) to suit my taste. The only sad thing is that I couldn't get this in the 4 lb. bag this time, so had to buy several of these small containers.
