Love this tail wrap! Used it to prevent further tail rubbing d/t sweet itch (our first year with it). This wrap over top of the medicated ointment/gauze does wonders. Yes they will eventually get it off. But this will last around 4-7ish hours depending how determined he was. So for the true purpose of this wrap it is wonderful!

Purchased this tail protector in an attempt to find a good product for our white tailed mares, who always gets oxidation on their tails while being hauled. The tail cover covered the tail well and protected it completely from getting stained. We will be purchasing more for the rest of our mares. Highly recommend.

Great for temporary use.

I can not pass any thing bad on the cover. It looks like will keep one of my girls from rubbing a spot on her till in the trailer.

I tried many times trying to get this to stay on my horse's tail. I took a section of tail and wrapped it over the velcro or folded up some tail and tucked it here or there but no luck.

I wouldn’t purchase this again, it slides down the tail b4 I have the horse loaded on the trailer..

I guess this might work for short periods of time like a trailer ride or something, but it absolutely does not stay on my horse overnight in his stall. He's a chronic tail rubber and even with this wrap on as tight as I can manage, he has no problem getting it off. Seems to be nice quality material and fits fine, it's just no match for his determination.
