My mother had one of these when I was a kid, I just happened to see this and bought it. Perfect for slicing eggs for sandwiches, or dicing them for salads. It takes just a few seconds to dice and egg, and it's super easy to clean. It's well made, surprisingly well made out of real metal not plastic, at a good price. So far so good.

Very sturdy and does a good job of slices eggs.

Recently received so have not used much. It appears to be well made, heavy duty. However I am use to the plastic one I had for over 30 years (the wires finally "sprung") which was light in weight, easy to use. I'm hoping the metal one will last the rest of my lifetime. I'm especially anxious to try slicing strawberries but it did work well for egg salad sandwiches.

Works as advertised. Good quality egg slicer. It gets a workout at our house slicing eggs for salads.

So this little gem works like a charm. Much better than the pricey plastic one it replaced. More compact and it stays together, whereas the old one fell apart.
