Ghostbusters: Afterlife [DVD]

A true sequel to the original two Ghostbusters films that paid homage to a fallen cast member in an incredibly powerful way for both the cast and the audience. A must watch for anyone who enjoys the previous films.

This film is for kids 13 to 99 years old.This film sticks to it's original origin and keeps you excited for the young actors plus sarcasm to boot! Then you have a long cameo appearance by 3 of the 4 original Ghostbusters. What a grand gesture to honor Harold Ramis.I can't tell you how good this film is, you just have to see it for yourselves.

I love this movie! It ties in the previous Ghost Buster movies in a great and believable way. Loved the homage and tribute to Harold Reemis.

Thought it was going to be another bad Hollywood reboot but it was actually a really good movie. Excellent cast. Can’t wait for part 2.

Must see Ghostbusters 1 & 2 first. Afterlife ties it all together. The kids will love it. Just in time for Halloween.

A classic American theme of a bunch of misfits winning in the face of substantial odds. Mckenna Grace played the most believable child genius, I actually believed she knew what she was saying -- not just a kid regurgitating science babble -- Academy award material.The upgrades to the Ghostbusters car are just hysterical -- "It's got a gunner's seat"Superior to the original because it was funny and audacious without being absurd. I'm sorry, but the original movie was made cringeworthy by Bill Murray's character which was too absurd and stupid; he was acting too much like the idiot groundskeeper from caddy shack rather than a misfit scientist (played excellently by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis). Bill's Character does make a cameo appearance in this film; however, it is properly written (the way it should have been written in the original).

DVD was in great shape. The price was fantastic !

I enjoyed, the film, though it is a little sad in places

As always I purchased the blu ray combo pack that includes the DVD and digital code. Go to the Sony website to redeem my code and am greeted by the error, digital code not valid in your area. What a rip off, I’ve paid extra for the digital copy and now I can’t use it. If your going to market and sell the combo pack in Canada, the code better be good for Canada.

Very much like the original Ghosbusters, the storyline develops slowly and ends with a climatic battle between the third generation Ghosbusters, teaming up with the original group, against Gozer and his/her bulls/dogs. There is not much action, and the film is made entertaining by the marvellous performances of McKenna Grace (Phoebe) and her mother Carrie Coon (Callie). The weapons and ghostly villains remain the same but the giant marshmallow has been replaced by dozens of tiny ones.

La película llego antes de la fecha estimada, contiene 2 discos, 1 con la película en 4k, otro con la película en Bluray y los extras. Además cuenta con un código para descargar la película en digital, pero desconozco su sirva en México (aun no lo e tratado de redimir).

Llegó un poco antes de los esperado y en perfecto estado, aproveche que estaba a un muy buen precio, la película en general es buena, si eres fan de las originales seguramente la disfrutarás más, no incluye audio en español, pero si con subtitulos en español latino
