Stubborn leak
I had a stubborn leak on the hot water side where the male copper connector (not supplied) threads into the bottom of the valve body. I can’t blame the kit because they didn’t supply the male copper piece, but I’ve never run into this before.I removed everything, cleaned the pipe dope out of both fittings, doped it again and really cranked down on it and it stopped the leak. Holding fine now, so I’m happy.Everything else about the kit was great. If I had to purchase again, I would get the same one.

Quality forged brass valves
Replaced failed valve set under tankless water heater with these new forged valves. The set includes everything you need to install, such as teflon tape and extra gaskets. Each valve is designed to combine several functions in one piece, which reduces leak points. Everything sealed right up and have been working now for 1 week, no problems. Happy camper!

Good Quality, Better Handles Than Some Others
These valves are good quality solid brass with chrome plated stainless steel valve balls, and the handles are larger than some others, making it easier to shut them on and off. The instructions even come with info on how to flush a tankless water heater, which is a nice touch.

Worked Great
The previous owner of my house failed to put in these service valves. Not sure if there's going to be an issue with the water heater in the future due to not being serviced. However, these valves went in and the water heater was serviced as needed. Everything worked well.
