Good kind of sarcastic card. Made my 20 yr old smirk
Well it's hard to find a bday card for a young man, oy. But this actually made my kid smirk a little. That smirk makes up for all the throwing up bile and bleeding esophagitis for 7 months when pregnant, 20+ hours of hard labor because you worried drugs will hurt the baby, a haphazard episiotomy I swear STILL hurts 20 years later, losing my livelihood by becoming a SAHM and my jerk ex still managed to have an affair and then left me for his "friend"... So I know the kid liked it. I think? Hard to tell. 20 year old college dropouts who resent their father, don't work and play videogames all night and sleep all day are such jerks, and they don't want you to know when they are happy, or did something right. That would just be TOO intrusive for your legal adult freeloading son to actually tell you that they are appreciative of you as a mom... cuz you never made a single sacrifice and are a "helicopter parent" wanting to know where they are at least once a day.. when they still live in your house, never had a job and don't pay any bills... and maybe you would just like to have some "quiet time" with your boyfriend, who it took years to find a good one, and don't want your adult son walking in on you... But I'm an "old" lady he doesnt think people over the age of 40 actually DO that... so whatever. I thought it was a good card.
