I was very dubious about the thin strap you used to secure this to your camera, so flimsy and cheap. I used the camera strap secured around this padded strap for extra protection. But it’s a complete misnomer to call this a floating strap - another holidaymaker asked me about it and I explained it was designed to float (I had an Olympus tg6 attached) and the whole thing sunk to the bottom of the pool - could have been disastrous if in the ocean and the strap broke! Made me nervous about losing my camera.

Not used yet water wrong side of freezing should do the job 100%

Wrist bit seems ok. Attachment thread mega flimsy. Will not withstand much force.

I bought this to let my iPhone (13 pro max) float, but it drops like a brick to the bottom. I think even 2 of these straps wouldn’t keep it afloat. But its a heavy phone, with lighter camera’s it might be enough, quality seems pretty decent.

Als ich die Kamera – Handschlaufe gesehen habe war ich erst skeptisch. Habe das ding für die Canon D 10 (wiegt ca.220 Gram) gekauft. Beim ersten Test mit einem 220 Gram schwerem Stein, ging komplett alles unter. Der zweite Test mit der D 10 hat mich dann überzeugt, die Kamera schwimmt und ging nicht unter. Anscheinend hat die Kamera Auftrieb (eingeschlossene Luft). Ende gut alles gut.

Buen producto que mantiene a flote en caso de pérdida cámara compacta pequeña, en mi casa la pentax WG8 o la olympus TG7. Compra recomendable
