I have major light sensitivity, and was using those cheap blue things that Ophthalmologists would give you after pupil dilation, over eyeglasses with clip-on sunglasses. And that was often not sufficient. These are real sunglasses, well tinted and polarized. I can look directly at the Sun and have no impulse to look away. Actually, when driving towards the Sun, I can barely see my vehicle's instrumentation. I'm hoping, if I treat them carefully, that they will last a long time.

Obsessed with these. They are perfect for really bright days. I often go to Hawaii and lounge on the beach and these were perfect and dark enough to not have to squint and were very comfortable.

I wear my shades indoors while at work, the lighting gives me migraines. For sure this is really dark when worn indoors. Had to slide it down just to walk around in the building, but outdoors in the elements this is a must have!!! Glad I purchased these.

For context, I'm wearing these while on deployment in Qatar. It's a very bright dessert in the middle east.The pros:- Very dark- They overall look and feel quality- Soft-touch rubber texture on the frames feels great.- Hinges are high quality and designed to bend a little in both directions.- The frames hold the lens away from the face, maybe it will help prevent it from adding to my raccoon tan.The cons:- Glare! So much glare I can barely see anything.- They only block about 90% of my vision because they're not wrap-arounds and that 10% that gets through is blindingly bright.Overall they're both too bright and too dark at the same time. I hope they make a wrap-around pair or something with less glare (or both). I like the quality though.

Good product, dark as I was expecting

I have macular degeneration and need to protect my eyes from bright sun. These work very well for this, they are super dark. You need to remove them immediately if you go indoors though, because you can't see anything indoors! They work well for outside though. Highly recommend!

I imagine it is great for people who really need dark glasses. I found them to be too dark to the point I couldn't see at all. Turns out, too, that I had super dark glasses in the house already, so I didn't really need them after all. I will say that they are of excellent quality and looked very sleek. I would recommend it even if it didn't quite work out for me.

Was very pleased with the lens quality and clarity. Was a lifesaver on the beach in Bora Bora and perfect for jetskiing in Grand Cayman. In bright harsh noon sun, seemed like sunset to me. Wished they offered a metal frame version so it will last forever! Only downside, If you walk in to a store or restaurant you will be knocking over stuff unless you remove the glasses. Great value for the money.
