Never Get Bored Cut, Fold And Stick

This book is amazing. I subscribe to the Usborne newsletters and one of the activity sheets they gave was from this book. My 6 yo loves paper projects, so I ordered it and I am so glad I did!A lot of craft books, kits, magazine activities involve material that are hard to find, expensive, environmentally unfriendly, are sort of "premade" (rather than from scratch), are hard or even impossible to do, and involve a lot of adult-- and there's very little you can do with the finished product. These activities are the opposite. Most of the materials we have around the house, the little stuff I bought were basic/inexpensive/biodegradable/recyclable stuff (ie I got some tissue paper). He is able to do 98% of it himself-- if I help it's just clarification on an instruction, but I am by no means doing the project for him. And the end result is really cool! (I love the wind projects for instance!). And they are all from scratch-- b/c they are more "from scratch" and open ended he's been able to riff with it and make all sorts of his own projects with it. it's like a skill. Thank you so much Usborne for making such a a great book!

Lots of ideas for creativity. My 5 year old granddaughter loves it.
