Q: Is it safe to spray directly on the AC filter?

My AC guy actually suggested this to me and the way he said was to remove the filter when it's time to clean or change it and spray this into the space that the filter goes in the unit. Then put filter in and enjoy. He did not spray on filter itself.

Q: How exactly do you apply the spray? Just from the vents in the house, or do you also spray from the furnace side of the ducts?

I use to work for an Air conditioning company and we would spray the intake vents. I also use it as a room deodorizer. It smells good, and it's a clean scent.

Q: Does it get rid of cigarette smoke smell?

Not sure but I will say the musky smell that I could stand on my apartment is no longer there. Even when I have no plug ins or fresheners going, the air is just fresh or no particular smell at all. I still spray every now and again. I would say yes it will illuminate the odor of cigarettes but im a non smoker so wouldn't really know. But its a great product and I love the smell of it.
