Item has grooves to retain adhesive on the wall mount side.

It needs so putty to make it water proof but it works great!

I purchased this for a camper van build to run the cables from the solar panels to the inside of the van. It’s a sturdy built part and the cable lugs secured the wired nicely with no leaking. It was wider than the ridges on the top of my van so I had to use way more sealant than I would have liked to. I was unable to make it look tidy because of the massive amount sealant that I had to use to cover the edges. This wouldn’t be an issue on a flat RV roof. Also I would have liked it to be a bit longer overall so the wires didn’t have to make such a sharp downward turn inside. This made it somewhat difficult to get it to lay flat while the sealant dried and probably causes there to be constant upward pressure against it. Overall it worked well and I think it will last a long time.

Like I said, makes a nice clean installation. Easy to run the wires, easy to mount to the wall.

Easy to use, but wish it had come with hardware to install

It works for what is needed but it is a hard cheap plastic that will surely crack and fail overtime.
