I purchased two, one for bed & one for under desk (the package without the outlet tester). This mat does indeed provide good conductivity to ground, and therefore produces the effects expected by earthing one's body. The length of the wire is great, easily reaching from foot of bed to the outlet behind bedside table (and plenty of spare wire). The plug has 5 mm diameter and fits well into any ground socket in a grounded outlet. I wish I'd bought the package with outlet tester, as it's only $4 more, and such testers are at least $7 at the hardware store.
