Saw this book and loved it. Gave it to a friend of mine who is a huge movie buff for his wedding and he loved it as well. A great book for anyone who loves the movies.

No parece que vaya a salir una nueva versión pronto, así que esta que llega hasta películas del 2021 es la más actual, el libro está excelente, con tapa dura y descripciones y pequeñas reseñas de las películas (ojo porque algunas que he leído de películas que ya ví tienen pequeños spoilers). Al inicio del libro trae la lista completa de películas para ir marcando las ya vistas.

The system of which they choose the movies to be here may be up for a little debate but one cannot deny that the vast majority of movies that are included have had significant impact, whether on pop culture, in a political sense, or groundbreaking in their own way. Here the owner can track the movies they’ve seen. I’ll be coming up with a colour coding system and have it on my coffee table, probably for the rest of my life as I try to work through the books recommendations.

I wanted to go through a history of important films, but am fairly time poor. This book for me was excellent because it provides succinct 1 page accounts for each film, organized in order of history/period.

This book is an amazing resource. Each movie selection has a very detailed write-up detailing why it was selected. There is a checklist in the front of the book so you can keep track of the movies you’ve seen which is also useful.
