Very nice backpack for the money.
WOW!!! I was so impressed by this backpack when it arrived. I purchased it primarily for an emergency / bug out bag. I live in an earthquake zone and needed a bag I could fill with the nessacary items I might need in case I survived a major event... and this bag is perfect for it. With 3 major compartments which will hold alot of stuff, you can really carry more than you would probably ever need. There are alot of velcro loops on the outside which I love because you can either velcro things to them or for quick release or use them to hold things. Very well build... and very nicely padded as well. It says it is waterproof but I don't think it would be a pure waterproof type... but keep things basically dry if it wasn't a heavy downpour. For the money... it is a very nice backpack that would work well for a weekend trip, backpacking for a couple of days... or as in my case, an emergency backpack!

Great bag
I use this for med school and back packing trips. Literally, the end all be all. Enough to fit textbooks, pencils, laptop, mouse, and headset OR clothes, food/cooking gear, tent, sleeping pad, and water pack/along with bottle. Had to get some attachments in order to comfortable fit in my hydro flasks (coffee-med school & water-mostly school, but also backpacking in the desert- who doesn't enjoy a cool drink on the first night of a trip?). All round will buy this pack again if it goes bad-have already had nearly a year with no issues. Was used almost daily with school or the three trips during vacation. 10/10 product surprised i got for price. (BTW have seen one other med student with the EXACT bag as well as one other backpacker with the same bag)Back Packers:I didn't mention but should be said, using this bag for more than 5 days on a backpacking trip was ROUGH and I was glad I had a friend with a nonmilitary bag to carry extra food/water for us both. But again great bag and will bring on any 5 days or less SOLO trips or 10 days or less trips with a friend with a 75L bag to bring extra food while you lug around the tent and sleep pads.

Perfect for school
I’ve ordered this three times for my grandson for school. He has used this style for middle and high school. Each bag has lasted two years before it needed replacing. Very sturdy. Gets “overpacked” with laptop, binders, notebooks, headphones, and all other school supplies. He loads it up so it’s very heavy. Lots of pockets for easy organizing. A++ for us.

cool bag, works well for what i need, but has a lot of plastic.
a lot of plastic parts on it that will probably crack and break with heavy use but otherwise works just fine as a backpack for any normal activity.. plus has tons of cargo space and the Velcro for patches is nice for personalization.

The only backpack that perfectly fills an office 20" x 12" x 11" locking office file cabinet drawer.
This was the only bag that I could find after looking at over 60 bags that would perfectly fit my locking 20" x 12" x !!" locking file cabinet drawer at work as an urban bugout bag.At 2.9 lbs, it weighs as much as my old LL Beans rucksack and is roomier, and more comfortable. In theory, it's worth about 2,640 cu. in. The only 2 other packs that came close to doing the job were the LA Police Gear 3 Day Pack 2.0 which unfortunately has the thickness tapered from bottom to top, and the Tactical 5.11 72 hour pack which I thought was too heavy, too complicated, and was the most expensive. The only problems that I saw with the pack are that the straps on the waist belt are too short for anyone with a waist much over 38" wearing 4 layers of clothing. The zipper pulls are cord loops - they're black and I have trouble seeing them even in the light so I'm going to replace them with something more visible. I am taking steps to make it look less military. I am planning to have side pockets added to hold water bottles. I would never use the hydration bladder option since the bag lies flat in my drawer with important papers in it. It easily swallows my ASUS chromebook. It has pockets deep inside where I keep my valuables. I only use the vulnerable upper outer zippered pocket for glasses and the lower one for my days lunch. I am 5' 8" and it fits me perfectly. I''m not planning to ever carry more than 20 lbs in this pack so it should be perfect.

Great Range Bag
So, this review is delayed quite a bit. I think I've had this bag for a bit over a year at this point.I've been using it as a range bag. I can fit electronic ear muffs and shooting glasses in the bottom front pocket. The top front pocket typically holds some foamies, a sharpie, and some .22LR ammo. The velcro space is great for sticking various patches. I typically have an American Flag, a Sig patch, and a "Don't Tread on Me' patch. The main compartment has a mesh holder that I tend to put my mag loader in. The main compartment is large enough to fit at lesat 2 handguns inside of plastic cases (thinking of the stock boxes that come with Sigs and S&W). If your state allows you to transport ammo in the same container as handguns, you can fit a long range day's worth of ammo with the handguns while still having enough room for folded paper targets. When it is a long gun day, I can fit more ammo than I will have time to shoot in this bag. In the main compartment, I've fit 2 handguns, a med kit, mag loader, range/hand towel, and a few folded up paper targets with room to spare. The shoulder straps are comfy. I don't use the hip belt or the compression straps. I don't hike with this thing-it goes from my home to my car to the range back to my car back to my home where it gets unloaded and whatever firearm/ammo contents go back to the secured locations within my home. So, if you want a range bag that doesn't look like a range bag-this would be great. If you want a sturdy backpack for daily use, this would be great. If you want a general purpose backpack where you can display band/cause patches-this would be great.

Peccato.
