Miracle-Gro Orchid Plant Food Spikes

Finally! My orchid is actually getting flower spikes. So easy, and because this is not a liquid fertilizer, i don't have to worry about over watering my orchid. I just break the plant food spike in half and use 3 ice cubes to water.

I was happy with the amount of orchid soil in these bags. I am in the middle of repotting some of my orchids, so I can't really say if it helps them grow, but I do like working with this product, and I have worked with other miracle grow products with good results.

When selling my condo, my realtor refreshed the place with some orchids, which I inherited after the sale. Then a friend gave me one as a housewarming in my new digs. I had heard that orchids were fussy, so I figured they would be dead in a month. But I bought the Orchid Plant Food Mist, and after 1.5 years they are still growing strong and occasionally bloom. Besides the mist I give them tiny sips of tap water weekly. But I can't help but think that the mist is the secret to their thriving.

I try to spray this on my orchids several times a month, and they LOVE it! It keeps them healthy and they put out beautiful blooms!

I used these for a few months, but my orchid still doesn't blossom - so maybe fertilizer wasn't the issue. The sticks did last as long as they should, and ordinarily I would recommend MiracleGrow, but they didn't help mine with blossoms. the package was reasonably priced and the sticks are small enough to just slide into the wood chips.
