Based on reviews, I bought this little "tool" with every expectation it would work. It doesn't! I gave it 3 stars because it IS a sturdy piece of metal & it might (maybe) work on some caps. But did not work on Blick, Winsor Newton, Atelier, or Golden. Will not fit Liquetex. Slips off target very easily & the teeth are scary sharp. See picture - it chewed & destroyed the plastic cap but would NOT open it. The second picture shows the tool I borrow from my husband's toolbox - always quick & easy success. I should have just bought another for myself instead of wasting money on this ineffective gadget!

I don't have arthritis (yet) but do sometimes have trouble gripping small twist-off caps. A quick search turned up this tool, and since it was well rated and the size I needed, I ordered it.Today, it arrived, so I gave it a test. Easily opens tiny tubes (Neosporin, Gold Bond, etc), as well as the somewhat larger toothpaste tubes. Fits nicely in my hand and takes up next to no room in the medicine cabinet. I'm delighted to have it ready to grab the next time I have a problem opening one of those little items.

This really does work taken like toothpaste tops off or a cream lid off or something the only issue I have is getting the cap out of the metal thing kind of hard to get it off but on that works great for twisting and turning an opening but once the caps in it it's hard to get the cap out of it and I think I just repeated myself anyways thank you it does help a lot

Small and sturdy, made out of heavy enough metal that there’s no danger of bending. It works well on all small bottles lids. I was even able to open a tube of industrial strength glue when the top was glued on! I have RA and it is easy to use despite sore joints

Hard to review. Either does what designed for or doesn’t. This made it really easy to open my paint tubes. I no longer have the strength in my hands especially when the paint had dried. Really saves me frustration. Cost is reasonable
