Nicely made, tight fit, lood great!

While mounting the rings on my Rossi RS22 rifle, it took some doing to get them to fit tight atop the rail. I was afraid the effort was going to strip the screws, but was eventually able to secure them in place without doing so. Once mounted properly and with the scope secured inside, everything felt snug and solid. A Rossi .22 is a budget rifle, so I didn't want to spend more on the rings and scope than I did on the rifle itself. I still need to sight it in, but up to this point color me pleased with the quality of these rings. I will have to see how they hold up during firing, but they do appear to be a good value for the money. Time will tell.

I used these scope rings to install a 3-9x40 on my 22 bolt action rifle. They are made of quality aluminum, and were free from any manufacturing defects that I could see. They mounted easily on the dovetail, and hold securely.I got these rings so I could use the iron sights and the scope on my rifle, and they work wonderfully for that purpose. I would advise that you want to make sure you have an adjustable height cheek rest to make sure you get a proper cheek weld.The only "downside" I can find (though it is a minor inconvenience) is that they use a torx screw, not a hex head. So you need to make sure to keep track of the tool that comes with it, unless you have a torx set, or a screwdriver kit with multiple heads. I usually prefer torx head screws for other uses, but not a huge fan on machine screws. We have an air rifle that the scope mount provided would not seat with the scope. A gun dealer showed us these because he didn’t have them in stock and they worked perfectly. They set up high enough and you can use the gun both with the scope and just through the mounts. Great product great price fast shipping love it.
