Delicious
I've been seeing ads for these for months and they looked gooey and delicious so I finally bought them to try. So far I love all the flavors I've tried, some more than others. I think the cookie butter is my favorite, or the chocolate banoffee. The all-chocolate ones are a little bland. They're a little drier than expected? I was picturing something like the consistency of cold cookie dough or nougat, but it's not quite that soft. A little bit crunchy and crumbly but not dry and tough like a lot of other protein bars I've had. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

Good for vegan protein bars
I’m used to non-vegan protein bars. My favorite were the Barebells protein bars which damn near tasted better than actual chocolate. But I’m trying to cut dairy out of my diet so I tried these. Some flavors were definitely better than others. I loveee cookie butter a lot (put it in the air fryer for 5 mins at 175*F- sooo good). Chocolate hazelnut is up there too. The texture reminds me of a cereal bar a little. It takes a minute to get used to. It’s not amazingggg but if you need a vegan option for a sweet protein treat then they’re worth a try. I see they have other flavors not included in this box and I’ll try them too.

Actually yummy protein bars (not anymore)
Edit: My previous review was for the old bars that I loved. I've since tried the new bars in a sample pack they sent and I couldn't finish a single one. They're basically an entirely different bar, not just softer. The 'softness' is this chewy, gloopy bar that sticks to your teeth with mediocre flavor. If you've ever had an Alani protein bar, the texture is very similar. I used to buy these by the box but I'll have to find a new bar because the new and "improved" misfits bars are some of the worst I've had. I do intermittent and sometimes longer fasting, and I will not lie, I impulse bought these deep into a fast because they looked really good to my hungry eyes. I am so glad I did. These are delicious. The little crispies add a nice texture and crunch akin to a candy bar, the filling, in most flavors, adds some much needed moisture (though of course there is not nearly as much as the pictures show) and the bar itself doesn't have that chewy, dense texture that most protein bars have. Of course, it's still a protein bar so it's not going to beat something like a Twix in a blind taste test, but when I'm looking for something sweet in my eating window, I find myself reaching for these instead of the cookies or candy bars in my pantry. I let myself eat what I want in my eating window, so I could very well just go for the candy bar, but these satisfy my sweet tooth with the bonus of protein, fiber, and no guilt. All of the flavors are good, but they vary in strength of flavor and moisture, so I thought I'd talk about them individually. Cookie Butter: The most anticipated flavor for me, so the first one I tried. The cookie butter flavor isn't very strong, but it's there if you're looking for it. If you gave this to me blindfolded and asked me to guess the flavor, I don't know if I could. A little more on the crumbly and dry side. Banoffe: Second most anticipated flavor, and the flavor itself was great, not too artificial tasting and strong. Unfortunately, it was by far the driest of the flavors. The filling seemed nonexistent. If you have some water nearby to compensate though, it's tasty. Brownie: Unexpectedly, I think this one is my favorite. It's a nice middle ground for moisture, and it satisfies that gooey chewy brownie craving well. Cookies and Cream: I had this one at the same time as the brownie flavor the first time, and it's comparable in taste and moisture. Classic and yummy. Hazelnut: Flavor is good and light, but it's a little dry. Not so much that I'd recommend a drink on hand, but noticeably so. Caramel: Delicious, and by far the most moist one, almost surprisingly so. The caramel filling seems to be more plentiful than the other bars, and this one seemed a bit softer. All of the bars I got had the same expiration date, so I don't think it was a matter of freshness. Overall though, I freaking love these bars and am ordering another box asap.

Not worth the price
The macros are good. There is less sugar. The texture is pretty good too. The flavor is just not there. Most taste chalky and kind of like cardboard in the same way when you put items in ziplock containers and it taste like the container. Some of the bars have this lingering taste of packaging. Caramel is the best flavor and I would considering buying that again. 30$ is alot for bars that don’t taste good though . For similar macros I would rather have Katy Hearn FIT snacks which taste much better and have a similar cost. I’m happy I didn’t pay full price or I would be upset. Won’t buy this again.

Top protein bars! So delicious and low sugar. Rich chocolate flavours with different filling. Personally my favourite is cookie dough, but all worth to try. I would definitely order again. ❤️

These are good value rather than buying individual bars at the supermarket and a good way to try out their range. Low in carbs, high in protein and vegan too! Pea protein is the higher quantity of its protein content with some soy following. No added sugar although they do use Xylitol as a sweetener which is low GI and no sugar spike. Overall tasty and good texture. Being high in plant proteins it does have a mild undertone of bitterness but I find it doesn’t detract from it overall. Even other plant proteins like hemp are mildly bitter to. It’s just the proteins natural flavour. I’d rather have Misfits than sugar loaded dairy filled confectionery any day. They’re helping me transition into having more vegan based foods. Oh and they’re a nice treat for my diabetic mum.
