I'd noticed the old blade head was catching on my skin. I was looking at buying a new razor, then looked up how much I paid for this one! I realised there must be replacement heads. And this was it. Works brilliantly. The razor's now good for another few years.

Excellent and made shaver like new

I’ve had my Braun shaver for maybe 2 years now - I didn’t use it regularly in the first year, but use it now maybe 3 times a week. I have the one with the cleaning unit, and it’s excellent. I think you’re advised to change the head maybe once a year so, even though the shave it provided was still good, I thought it was about time. There were a lot of replacement heads on Amazon, at various prices…but on closer inspection of the listings, many of the cheaper ones (while they look the same, and even have similar packaging) are not Braun originals. Some of the reviews of these other brands led me to decide to pay the extra and get the Braun replacement head. It’s a little more expensive, and I cannot vouch for whether the price difference is worth it - but I can say that the replacement head is excellent and did actually make a noticeable difference to the quality of the shave. I wish they were a bit cheaper, hence dropping one star - but they are very good products, and you know what you’re getting if you buy the “real thing” 😆

This product bought replaced a Chinese manufactured non-Braun product which I previously bought as it was less than half the price. This Braun product was clearly more robust and the shave was also superior. The blade it replaced had become blunt very quickly and started to catch hairs rather than cut them. It has lasted for about half the time before getting blunt. The Braun is far better quality but expensive, I suppose you get what you pay for.

I have used a Braun Series 9 shaver on a daily basis since 2018, having previously used the Gilette Fusion Power wet shave system. The shaver promised to be the fastest in the world and it mainly lives up to this billing, allowing me to get ready for work more quickly without the faff of having to prepare a bowl of hot water and apply shaving gel at 6 am. However, I did find that the Braun shaver was unable to cope with longer hairs especially on my neck. I tried all sorts of techniques, including the long hair trimmer but they just seemed to elude the shaving foil. I therefore ensured that I did a wet shave at least once a week as a compromise. Braun have now released the Series 9 Pro. I did some research and found that the Pro shaver head is fully compatible with my old Series 9, model 9292cc. Looking at the two shaver heads, it is quite difficult to see the difference between the old and the new version. The gold Hyperlift and cut trimmer on the new Pro head has a slightly larger gap between two rows of teeth, which are also recessed a little bit further. This has been designed to help the shaver when handling longer hairs, up to 7 vs up to 5 days of growth. I have now used the new shaver head for the past week. As you can see from the photograph, the Series 9 Pro head has a matte finish that looks great on my 9292cc shaver – I prefer it to the original chrome head. As expected with any brand-new shaver head, it gives a closer shave than the previous shaver head which was 2 years old. However, the new shaver head now easily handles the longer hairs on my neck, and I have finished the week with no need for a wet shave! In terms of speed, it takes less than 2 minutes to achieve a perfect shave, before popping the shaver into the Clean and Charge station. Far cheaper than buying a newer shaver, it has given my Series 9 shaver a new leave of life. As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I have tested many different models of electric shavers from Braun, Panasonic, Philips and Remington. I can confidently say that this has given me the best ever electric shave and recommend it as an essential upgrade to all Series 9 owners.

Does the job perfectly

The price of this is expensive but on searching for a cheaper price, this is the lowest. It lasts for well over the recommended life of the head as stated by Braun. My last one lasted 6 years, being used for approx 2 thirds of the year. Hopefully this one will last just as long.

This product is a 100% genuine Braun cartridge. It shaves perfectly like the original cartridge. I highly recommend this seller 👍. Like a lot of people, I previously purchased a not so cheap cheaper cartridge that came in Made in Germany packaging that seemed genuine. Apart from not shaving as it should, it irritated my skin and fell apart. Beware of fake imitations 🙈.
