Fenwicks Chain Lube: 100ml, Prevent Corrosion, 100g

The Fenwicks Chain Lube (100ml) works brilliantly for keeping my drivetrain smooth and protected. Application is easy thanks to the precise nozzle, and it doesn’t create a mess like some other lubes I’ve used. A little really goes a long way, so this small bottle will last quite a while. Out on the trails and road, it keeps the chain running quietly with minimal build-up of dirt or grime. Even after a few wet and muddy rides, the performance has been consistent – no squeaking, no rust, just smooth shifting. It’s clear that Fenwicks chain lube is designed with cyclists in mind, offering great value, easy application, and excellent protection. Highly recommend for regular bike maintenance.

Big fan of this lube. Previously I used White Lightning Wet Ride for my commuter bike, but it's very thick so although it was durable, it would attract a lot of muck. This Fenwicks stuff is lighter so doesn't attract dirt in the same way, but is still durable enough for a week commuting. Only the absolute wettest of British commutes means I have to wipe it down and re-lube mid week. I'm pretty fastidious with my drivetrain cleaning, giving it a proper clean every week using an ultrasonic cleaner for the chain, and it always cleans up well whereas it was sometimes a bit harder to get it quite as clean with the White Lightning. Since switching to Fenwicks about a year and a half ago (and several thousand miles), my chain isn't even at 0.5 wear (using the Park Tool wear tool CC-4.2). Obviously that's mainly in part to my maintenance routine, but I have no doubt this lube is playing its part by not attracting so much crud in the first place. When this bottle runs out, which it's still a long way off doing despite doing one drop per link every week, I won't bother shopping around for anything else.

I've been using this bike chain lube for quite a while now, and it's made a difference. My drivetrain runs quieter, shifts more cleanly, and stays cleaner longer compared to cheaper lubes. A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last quite a while. Definitely worth it.

Having used this for a few weeks now I can review. Easy to apply because the control seems perfect. Some oils seem to spurt out. I like kenthe fact it doesn't attract too much dirt but also doesn't wash off at the first sign of water. Seems durable although I'm the sort of person who forever cleans and re-lubes. I do find myself re-lubing less so that's good. I've just broken my clavicle so it will be very much wetter weather when I next use this lube. That will be the test

An all-weather chain lube, so I don't have to decide which lube to put on my bike chain based on the forecast weather. Unlike some other lubes, it doesn't create a sticky gunky mess that attracts dirt and grime; my bike is all the cleaner for it. With judicious use I was able to make this bottle last an entire year, so overall good value for money.

After using only twice, my drivetrain sounds really smooth and doesn’t collect anywhere near the amount of dust etc.

Price was good used this on a couple of bikes works well chain seems quieter and changes through the gears smooth a must buy

Easy to apply and washes off easily with a cleaner. Quite thin and not the best if you ride in the rain or wet roads a lot - doesn't last as long as a proper wet lube. I use in the warmer months and use Peattys wet lube over the winter.
