Just received the desk mat today, and so far I'm happy with it. It arrived packaged well in a cardboard cylinder. After opening and placing on my desktop it is a bit smaller than I was expecting. The color is exactly what was advertised and the quality seems good (so far). I do not have any of the cracking that other reviewers have described. But even if it does eventually start to crack I'm sure an application of leather honey will fix it. Texture, color, and smell are all what I was expecting. Stitching is good around the borders and matches the color tone of the leather. My mouse tracks perfectly on it. It was rolled a little tightly inside the box and the leather has not yet had time to relax (as you can tell by the sides of the pad in the pictures). Im sure the edges will flatten over time and relax. So far I'm happy

Let me begin this by being very clear and honest with you, I I’m not associated with elizo or paid to make reviews. I feel it is my duty to leave reviews based solely on my interpretation of what I specifically have chosen and what I receive in return. That being said to anyone who is a lover of genuine leather, who knows the smell, who knows the feel and the texture this product is for you. I wish I could bottle up the smell and put it into my car. It came EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED AND LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN IT DOES IN THE PHOTOS THAT THEY’RE USING. I have a very specific color designed to my office and required something that matches both my leather chair and the wood furnishing that surrounds the desk and floor. These people DM to me and helped me pick the exact match within their inventory to work within my color palette. After I received the first one I had to get another. I don’t know about you, but there is a single seller out there no matter what the product is or what you pay for that will help you to that level. It spreads over my desk perfectly and compliments what I want to a degree that you’d expect to pay $200 - $300 for this on Restoration Hardware. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is unparalleled. I don’t wanna sound too much like a fanboy, but I would highly recommend. Sure it may protect your desk if you have some high-quality wood, but in my case, it is the single item that makes my desk look good. Huge thank you to the craftsmanship and care that has gone into making such a thing it takes me back to the old days of the very first leather jacket that I ever wore and what it felt like putting it on. I now feel like that every time I sit down to work.

I can't say enough good things about this mat and the company's customer service. Both are absolutely 10/10! The mat is packaged very well, with a ton of attention to detail. That's great in itself, but it's nice to know that it's actually to protect the quality of the mat, and not to make up for it. As soon as I felt the mat, I could immediately tell the difference between all of the other mats I'd tried. The leather is very soft, and really excellent quality. All of the corners lay flat, the stitching is high-quality, it stays put incredibly well, and the Chestnut color is absolutely beautiful. I made a mistake with my exchange and the company took care of it at their expense. They absolutely did not have to do that, as the mistake was 100% my fault, but they still made sure I was taken care of and kept my satisfaction as the focus. I don't remember the last time I've been this blown away by both the product and the company. Truly an exceptional brand and an exceptional desk mat. It is worth spending the money over other options. In all honesty, they could charge a lot more for the mat. So even with the higher price, it still ends up being a great value. With this experience, I would confidently buy any product from this company and wouldn't think twice about it. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend you just purchase this mat. I can't imagine what more one could want in a desk mat.

I wouldve given this 5 stars had it not been for the two pock marks on plus having the hardest time with their site in extending the warranty period. The site seems glitchy. Other than that, the product reeks of leather smell which I love (not what you think) and it’s thick and the sides dont roll up. It looks and feels premium in person and I love that it came with a coaster and a leather bowl. Thank you seller!

That kind of service is rare and honestly made me feel like they really care about their customers. The replacement desk pad has been fantastic. The leather feels rich and sturdy, with just the right amount of softness under my hands. The thickness gives it a really solid feel on the desk and it stays perfectly flat. I love the natural sheen too. It has this clean, professional look that makes my setup feel more polished. After using it daily for a while, I can say it has held up beautifully. No curling edges, no sliding, and the surface still looks great. Between the quality of the leather and the way the company stood behind their product, I could not be happier with the purchase.

I love this real leather desk mat. I was a little nervous because of some of the negative reviews, but this real leather desk mat looks and feels great. My mouse glides across it effortlessly. It did have a strong smell to the first day but when I went to work the next morning the smell was gone. It does not scratch easily from what I have experienced. It is real leather so if it does, I can just rub it with some leather conditioner. Worth the price.

The sewing is very poor. The color is only superficial and many tears will appear just by sliding normal desk stationary on it. I absolutely don't recommend this product.
