Fisheye Lens on a Modest Budget
This is the best low-budget fisheye lens I have ever tried for any camera. The construction is solid. It's a bit heavier than the kit lens that came with my Canon M100, but much much lighter than a telephoto zoom. The lens comes with a brief manual, a sturdy gift box for storage, and a lens cap. It's a full frame fisheye, with some softness on the edges of the picture that isn't noticeable on a small screen but will be noticeable if the photo is shown on a large monitor or printed out. This should be fine for many hobbyists' purposes. Yes, it requires manual focusing, so if you're strictly into auto-focus and auto-exposure you will likely feel adrift very quickly. The manufacturers recognize this and provide some help in their manual on how to set up your digital camera to accept manual focus lenses and how to focus the lens, so that takes care of the focusing issue. But if you have a basic understanding of how shutter speeds and ISO work together to create a properly exposed photograph (which is beyond what the manual provides), you're going to have a lot of fun using this lens.

Solid little prime lens
Perfect light fish eye. Its not too fishe eyed, but its definitely a fish eye. When put in aps-c mode its less fish eyed and I really like the look of it. Its light, compact, and so fun to shoot on. I live that they whole thing is metal

Decent lens for Canon EF-M
Alright so used this on my Canon M6 Mark II EF-M and here are my thoughts on it. First off you will see I uploaded two photos, one is the lens without any correction and the second is the same image with the recommended lightroom settings on the product listing page. In terms of chromatic aberration, I did get some purple fringing on the right side of the lens, but it was slight enough to be removed by Lightroom without much loss of detail. In terms of lens sharpness, the center is sharp with the sharpness trailing as you go out from the center. This I had expected given the price and the fact it's a fisheye lens. In terms of lens flair, it actually did a really nice job on this as I was pointed directly towards the setting sun, and it handled it well. On a few images I noticed a green arc when the sun was at the very edge of the lens, but it was very minor. Indoors you going to need a bright room as this lens falls apart when the lighting is low, the image gets really soft and very noisy but given its small aperture this should not be a surprise. Adobe's lightroom did a decent job using AI to denoise the image, but it can only go so far even on the RAW image. So overall this lens does a nice job when the lighting is bright, and you nail the focus on the Canon M6 Mark II, the cost is reasonable, and the build quality is excellent for lens at this price point.

Great Introduction to a Fisheye Lens
Have you ever tried a fisheye lens with your camera? For under $60, you can find out if you like wide-field imaging. My initial impressions (all relative to the price point): Optical Performance: Excellent sharpness in the center of the frame with considerable loss at the edges of the frame. Distortion and field curvature are typical of a fisheye lens at this focal length. Color aberration, both lateral and longitudinal, is excellent, as is color fidelity and color balance. The lens flare is present but surprisingly well-controlled. Vignetting is minor for a 172-degree field of view. The lens coatings are very high quality (I am a retired optical coating engineer). Looking down at the lens, it looks dark and dull. When mounted on the camera with the iris open, a perfect optical coated lens should look like a black hole. The metal lens cap is poorly designed and slipped off in my camera pouch, having the potential of scratching the front lens element. I would have preferred plastic. Because the lens is short, I had problems keeping my fingers out of the lens's field of view! Mechanical Performance: All metal construction. Weight is on the heavy side. Fixed aperture at F/5.6. Smooth focus ring (my sample is a tad on the loose side, but workable). The build quality is excellent, and it mounts and unmounts easily on my Fujifilm camera body. The hyperfocal distance setting is about 1 m, meaning you can set it for all but close focus distances and leave it there for most of your photography. The close focus distance is about 6 inches and is surprisingly sharp. I highly recommend this lens. I am having more fun with it than with other fisheye lenses, which cost me about ten times more.

Nice entry level wide angle
Build quality is solid, feels hefty, control rings are super smooth to operate. It takes pretty good pictures but takes some practice to get things in focus well, which is even more difficult if you intend on doing video where you're changing focus frequently. Overall fun to use and worth the price to get a taste of this style of lens.

Dark
Very dark not a way to introduce light.

Does not fully cover lens mount, defective
Bought this item for a camera with an EF-M mount. While the lens did mount onto the camera, it didn’t fully cover the camera body to the same extent that Cannon lenses do. Was possibly missing a part as it appeared to be a returned item sold as “new”. Ended up returning it as I didn’t want to risk dust entering the sensor. I’d stay away from this company.

Well built
Amazing field of view. It's built very solidly. The only thing off about it is the wacky lens cover. It's aluminum and slides awkwardly on and often unintentionally off the lens front. Still, great deal at the price. It's not one you'll probably use often, bug fun when you do pull it out.

this id a really small lens, really light (your camera will feel like theres nothing on it), and REAAALLYY WIDE. good for the price, but dont get it if you’re too lazy to use the focus ring. i love this thing though
