Thick, Excellent coverage. botch free stain. No smell unlike the other stains available in the market.After drying has a very slight linseed oil smell on the wood and left a nice natural oiled finish on hardwood before appplication of seal coat. Accurate color as shown in the tin. I used it on Acacia wood
