It charged up in a couple hours. The lights on it won’t light up until fully charged. Lit a candle wick on the first try. I did have to hold it on the wick a couple seconds. Not unlike a match.Longer bar than I expected so, it wouldn’t feel safe carrying it in a pocket.Perfect for me since I have a couple small children. The safety on this unit is the best. The slide is hard to move as well as pushing the button underneath.

Issues with my fingers makes it impossible for me to use those long lighters. These lighters are almost effortless to use and they're safe too. Love it!!!

I bought this because it was rechargeable. Note that it's not great for starting firepits or charcoal. Keep to the candles.

I bought this to use it with my sage but it was too small. It lights my backflow cones perfectly.

Love this lighter, bought two more in other colors for family members and other rooms of the house. Holds a charge for a few weeks to a month depending on use (and we light candles almost daily). Nice to have a lighter that can be charged, and doesn’t run out and have to buy new ones all the time. Love the length for lighting candles but works well on anything. My husband smokes so he lights cigarettes off these just fine too. We’ve had them for about 3 months now and they work perfectly, very happy. Definitely recommend!
