The cable and housing are good. Unfortunately the front brake cable and housing are for a typical cantilever brakes, and did not reach my front disc brakes. My mistake, should have checked the length, the seller clearly states it on the page. So I repourpose the rear one for the front, cut down to size. Works just fine, so please make sure you're ordering this for front cantilever brakes and not front- disc brakes.

The rear cable was extra long, this is great, especially for custom builds.

Quality is good. Price not bad. Shipping went from earlier date to day later. What lowers the rating is the fact that even though I needed 25.5 inches, I went with a longer cable (29.5"). Even though the new wire is longer, it was short. The housing was too long. So I had to use my old wire housing. It was a bit of work trying to pull out the old wire so I could reuse the housing. SUGGESTION: Don't crimp the housing. Buyer crimps to size. Sincerely ES
