I ordered a bunch of bananas off Amazon because apparently, I live in 2025 and that’s how we do fruit now. First, the delivery, pristine. Not a bruise in sight. I felt like royalty opening a fruit box, except with slightly more anxiety because what if one slipped? I peeled the first one. Immediately, I was hit with that unmistakable banana smell, like a tropical holiday crashing into my kitchen. I took a bite and suddenly, I understood every sad song about lost love. The banana was soft but firm, sweet but not sickly… honestly, I considered writing it a thank-you card. By banana three, things got serious. I was sitting on my sofa, a banana in each hand, staring deeply into the fridge like I was negotiating world peace. My cat watched me like I’d finally lost it (she’s probably right). Then came the fateful moment, banana four. I slipped on the peel. Don’t worry, I landed on my bum in a manner that was somehow elegant and endearing. Got to order when you are ordering other type of groceries if you order from other supermarkets or wherever you always get the rubbish ones.

Mid sized bananas, nice and tasty, not quite as well priced as my local supermarket but not bad value either. Would buy again.

One simple bunch of bananas tasty and delishous creamy and they made wonderful sandwiches would I but them again yes I would. But not these new ones, from these new plantations where they grow them I don't care if they are cheaper, I don't like them, I bought some last month, and I felt like taking them back they were stringy and they did not taste nice not at all like the ones I had from Amazon back in January.
