Not sure if I receive a dud but I went to use it once and dropped it on a wooden floor from about 1m high and the little metal nub that runs along the groove snapped off instantly rendering it useless. That said I just use the rule by itself so not completely useless. Expected better from a "heavy duty" product at this price.

Hard to read scale on a thin, flimsy and toyish steel rule. Do not buy.

Love that is stainless steel so it won’t corrode in humid Florida, love that the numbers are etched and won’t rub off, love how it’s a very solid hunk off metal and not some plastic Tonka Toy piece of junk, love how it has both inches and metric, and love how my table saw blade is finally square!! And all at a reasonable price. This is the one to have!

Satisfied with what i see (i’s a woodworker). Heafty and well made. Need longer testing to see if I consistently get perfect angles. Longterm Update: It’s around 1 degree not square and the locking mechanism is really hard to tighten or loosen
