Merchant Gourmet Whole Chestnuts - 1x500g

These chestnuts are amazing, I fried some pancettaDrained off excess fat, added a little butter to the pan and tossed some chestnuts and steamed Brussels sprouts and finally added the pancetta lardons and gently mixed together. I served it with chicken and potatoes of your choice. The chestnuts made all the difference to the Brussels and I would highly recommend these chestnuts, the best I’ve tasted.

The taste is amasing.The packet says 'Whole Chessnuts', most are but around 25% as trimmed to remove unwanted infected or bad parts before cooking.Still worth buying for the taste and general quality.

Bit costly but impossible to get locally - this is what Amazon is for.

Cooked and ready to eat these chestnuts are full of flavour straight out of the packet. I find them delicious as analternative snack when I want something a bit different from crisps etc and being free from sugar, salt and flavourings they feel like a very healthy alternative.

I had to throw some away as as you got to near the bottom of the sachet the chestnuts were wet and had a strange metallic taste which is why l had to throw them away, l won't be ordering anymore

We buy Chestnuts at Christmas and are always dissappointed with the number of bad ones we get, however buying them this way, we just microwave them until they are warmed up and eat them, no need to shell them, excellent taste and quality, can't complain.

Taken them for my health!!.
