Raising the Bar with the Napoleon Phantom Prestige 500 Grill
I love the Matte Black! The knobs also light up either blue or red to indicate if there is an active flame. The grill heats up fast and stays consistent, thanks to the top-notch burners. From searing steaks to slow-roasting vegetables, the heat distribution is nothing short of impressive. The infrared side and rear burners are a great addition, providing more cooking versatility. I have used them for searing steaks and also slow roasting kabobs! Moreover, the build quality is phenomenal. The Phantom Prestige 500, like its predecessors, is built to withstand the elements and deliver years of service. The stainless steel grill grates are easy to clean and maintain, making it a practical choice for the regular griller.

Napoleon ROCKS!!
This is better than our Weber Genesis 335 and we liked that grill. This is on a another level for performance, it’s solid and really heats well. Can’t speak for the rolling cabinet (didn’t unpackage or use it for our application). The flexibility of doing a wall mount for our application with this unit puts it in a league of its own imo!

Great grill
2 hours to assemble. Forgot to season the cast stainless cooking grids. Make sure you do this before grilling. Rub them down with canola oil, both sides and all 5 grids and bake 350 degrees for half hour. Then coat again with canola oil and bake again 350 half hour. This will be low on all burners. Love the grill. Mine is hotter towards front with all burners lit on high.

Napoleon is the best grill with the best warranty, hands down
IDK why this other reviewer thinks traeger grills are superior because they're not. Poor quality and design. But this is about Napoleon grills. This looks cool as hell and is functionally a little bit different than the prestige 500 stainless model. The grates are all cast stainless which no other Napoleon model has and they're super heavy. The warming grate thing with the wing/drumstick feature is honestly kind of dumb. The grill hits 600 degrees F in about 8 minutes and around 800 in 15 mins. The rotisserie is alright but I don't really see the need for it. I absolutely LOVE the sear burner (which isn't a typical side burner). I use that burner all the time for reverse searing steaks, pork tenderloin, and duck. Also love to cook burgers from raw on that burner. I actually use it a lot more than the main grill. It's the best part of this grill if you eat any red meat at all. This grill also has a lifetime warranty on almost everything so I find that the warranty totally makes this grill one of the best deals on the market. Cannot recommend it enough

My opinion is Mixed
I have a Traeger Ironwood 885 and compared this new Nepoleon Grill with it. Quality of the Traeger is hands down far more superior to the nepoleon. Traeger is 2 thirds the cost of the neopleon so i dont understand why it is what it is. Lights are run by D cell batteries, there should have been an option to use power. Overall i dont think its worth the price. Out of the box rotisserie motor was dead and left burner would go off as you try to turn it low. Support is great however it shouldn’t have issues like this at this price point.
