This piece of kit is not cheap, but a very good addition to the kitchen. The blade is razor sharp so be careful. I have used it to slice courgettes and aubergines without issue. It cleans easily with a quick rinse, the supplied holder aids drainage, drying and storage.

It's very sturdy, very sharp.. but the slices are so so so thin. Not using it as much as I expected to. It's great for French fries, though a bit thin... But couldn't get it to work well with apples, onions, tomatoes... It cuts thin but falls of the holder before fully done. Maybe a steel glove is needed

I had a Borner mandoline set that I bought 30 years ago. It's time to replace it with a new one! I loved everything about this product. Highly recommend!
