Looks awesome. It is a gift and I think they will love it. It is a good size. About a foot long so it does not take up too much room. It works well out of the box. You can plug it in with a usb cable. Not sure about the batteries life in it. It has a remote that seems to work. a good amount of lighting not too bright.

If you are reading this, you are probably hesitant on whether to purchase this or not. And you are probably a Star Wars fan. Just get it. It’s perfect for any room / great addition to Star Wars memorabilia. Runs on 3 AAA batteries, also has a usb output you can plug into a phone charger. When it is powered via USB, it bypasses the batteries. So it can be used for stationary set it and forget it, or you can carry it around on battery and look like a total badass. Either way, you win.

I hung this sign for a couple of Star Wars parties we hosted recently, and it worked quite well. Since the area where I wanted to place it didn't have an easily accessible electrical outlet, I decided to install batteries instead. I'm not sure how long the batteries should last, but I kept the sign lit for at least eleven hours in total, and the light remained bright throughout.

First let me say that I love the idea of this light. It's brightness is fine, it's appearance is fine, and even though it is rather cheaply made... it generally is acceptable solely on appearance. Where is fails is that the manufacturers failed to take the collector and how a collector might use it to mind. Rather than using a simple toggle switch to turn the light on/off, it uses a soft switch. This means, if you want to display the light in display case, and use something like a smart plug to turn it on/off then forget it. The soft switch doesn't remember the last status of the light. It is always off unless you physically press the button on the side (again a cheap physical toggle switch would have alleviated this concern). So unless you enjoy getting out a ladder to turn on the display in your glass case (or other similar PITA) to utilize this light... it's worthless for the collector. If you get giddy over having it sitting on your desk or something then fine... this is for you. If you want it to look cool behind and/or lighting up your display... forget it (unless you want to physically turn it on every single time). Generally good product with a bad design. Next time, take into account what collectors might actually wish to use it for.

We bought this to sit on our vendor table during a May the Fourth craft show. We had to secure it to our display because several people were more interested in taking this sign home than in buying any of our handcrafted items.
