Tips for the YIHUA 928D-III SK
I have a YIHUA model 928D-III SK 65Watt soldering iron with a blue handle - not to be confused with the YIHUA 928D-III 110W version with the same name and a red handle. For some strange reason both models have been given the same 928D-III item reference which is confusing. The 110W soldering iron has a larger heating element, so tips for that don't fit the 65W SK model. These tips are meant for the SK model but you have to buy the whole pack of 10 to get the size of tip you most frequently use, but they're from the original manufacturer and they fit!

What you would expect.
Not tried these yet but, as they are the same make as ones that came with the soldering iron, I expect they will perform the same.

wont tin . wont work .
bought these as they matched the iron i bought . it only came with one tip . they dont work as well as the supplied tip. infact its hard to get the solder to stick to these tips at all. even with lots of flux . a new tip cannot be tinned either . they look ggod if tha matters . all shiney and stuff . just dont seem to work as soldering tips. looking for other suitable tips .

Probably counterfeit!
A couple of the tips were unusable, the coating on the end was a mess - rough and uneven with lumpy texture. The tip that came with my Yihua iron has the Yihua logo and the tip size/ID laser etched on the side. These don't, they are a slightly different length, and definitely not the same quality. Most likely knockoffs IMO.

Cheap and well built
Value for money.. and it is original.. it lasts for a long time if you clean and tin your head regularly and use the proper temperature...
