21st Century Acidophilus Probiotic Blend Capsules, 150 Count

These are super effective for regulating digestion. I've tried many kinds and always find the shelf-stable varieties pretty worthless, and the refrigerated ones to work better. This one I guess is somewhere in between, as the bottle says "Refrigerate AFTER opening". But they work just as well if not better than the good kinds I have bought straight from the cooler in Natural Grocers. And at a much cheaper price! Definitely worth a try.

This was the recommended brand from my hospital pharmacy. Has been taking this probiotic once a day to prevent possible C-Diff from being on six antibiotics for a severe lung infection in past 10 years. All these years has been working wonderfully in preventing diarrhea from the antibiotics . I do need to take additional capsule on the first sign of loose stool to regulate bowel movement back to normal. Also excellent pricing in comparing to much more expensive brand. Works well on travel diarrhea too.

Best pro biotic on the market without a prescription. 3 years ago I was on a series of antibiotics one right after the other. I was told this might cause a yeast infection. So I increased my yogurt from once a day to 3 times a day. I still ended up with a really bad yeast infection. So then I started with the over the counter stuff, pill's, creams, lotions & potions. Finally after about a year the yeast infection was under control but I was still running to the bathroom. After 2 yrs of running to the bathroom (10-15 BMs a day) my rheumatologist decided I needed to be seen by a gastro Dr. 4weeks later I was diagnosed with... C-Dif. A very serious/deadly health problem. I could've died, really died! For 2 years I had this contagious disease & all my doctors did nothing. The Gastro Dr. gave me a prescription that was going to cost $80.dollars & more antibiotics (this time it would kill the bad antibodies). I did research and found these. I started with 2 in the am & 2 in the pm. I also increased my food prebodics sauerkraut, olives, asparagus, Greek yogurt anything fomented (Prebodics feed the probodics). It took 6 months to get my intestinal track in order. I now take 1 a day every day. I will never have this problem again. Just remember something's that are here to make you better can also kill you. Probodics are something everybody should be taking on a daily basis, it helps keep the good guys fighting the bad guys. Just ask Dr. Oz!

I usually buy a bottle from the pharmacy connected to my Dr. so have been taking this probiotic for some time now. One call out to this package vs what I pick up at the pharmacy is this package has a refrigeration warning on it where as the bottle from the pharmacy (smaller quantity) does not. I don't believe these to be fake (they're high quality if so) but that should be noted...

I was having really bad stomachaches and stomach issues 2-3 times per week. I made a doctor’s appointment, and in the interim, started taking taking these. A month later, I realized my doctor’s appointment was the following week, but I hadn’t had a stomachache in weeks, so I was able to cancel the appointment. Additionally, I was taking Omperazole, Dexilant—all the GERD meds. I became immune to all of them. However, once I started taking these, I experimented with stopping my GERD meds, and now, I haven’t taken them in years! As soon as I run out of these, my acid reflux immediately returns. I wonder about whether these are meant to be used long-term everyday, but they are cheaper than my former prescription meds, so I’m sticking with them.

I love how a dose of this probiotic is only one capsule a day! The pill isn't very large, either. It's an awesome deal, as well. I was buying my acidophilus at a local store for around this price, but it required three pills daily, which caused me to often forget doses, especially if I didn't eat three times a day. This one is soooo much more convenient! Unfortunately, I think the one pill a day format isn't as effective as three a day if you have crohn's, ibs, etc. But it's definitely reassuring to know you're getting a full dose of probiotic if you tend to forget doses with the three a day format.

Love this Probiotic! I take two every morning and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT improvement in my digestion and immune system. It does not upset my stomach, or have any adverse side effects. The capsules are a good size and easy to swallow and do not have any odor or taste. It is important to take this on an empty stomach. If you take it with other supplements, medication, or food, it is not able to work as intended. It does not have to be refrigerated, which is nice! If you struggle with any digestive discomfort, I would highly recommend this product. Balancing your gut with good bacteria can solve so many health problems! I used to have a lot of skin issues (rashes, irritations, crazy acne outbreaks), and I believe since I improved my gut health, these have vanished.
