I like it.
While I cannot say I "love it," I do like it...a lot. This was purchased to update an older bathroom in my older home. The water pressure at this tub is not "ideal" but probably average. (This Vdomus hand shower was added to a diverter tub spout, which may account for the lower pressure). This Vdomus hand shower appears well made, chrome plated "special copper" wand, feels good in the hand unlike lessor grade plastic products. The hose (adequate length) is actually stainless steel wrapped, not the "chromed" plastic which usually gathers mildew internally over time. The ONLY plastic part to this the wall attachment which once mounted is fine. The spray pattern (non-adjustable) is "long and narrow" (sort of rectangular) as opposed to "round" The advantage to those of us with older "narrow" showers is a spray pattern which places more water directed at the body and does not "waste" by spraying on walls of the narrow shower. It also is supposed to have a "pulsating spray." It sort of does, but not real evident or overly so. It does produce a satisfactory water quantity without appearing "wasteful. Hope that makes sense. While the design intent of this product is probably for contemporary "Euro" look, I believe this is a great shower head for older, narrow showers as the water pattern sprays that way. So, if you have narrow or limited shower space, this unit will help while supplying an adequate flow of water. The wall attachment is adjustable for different height individuals, but again, the shower pattern is not. But honestly, how often do we really change the pattern from one we have gotten used to?Simple, elegant design, well made (let's not forget the stainless steel hose and chrome plated "special copper" wand). Currently less than $20 on Amzn, I think it is a deal and if you have limited shower space or are going for a contemporary design, you may want to consider this product.

Wonderfully pleased!
This hand held shower is exactly what I expected. It is extremely well made, solid brass with good fittings. I bought an extra long hose to go with it, and I'm glad I did. My shower arm is high, and I am tall, so needed the longer hose. I absolutely LOVE the way the water is distributed - it does give a somewhat pulsing flow due to the way the holes are placed. The water is concentrated to a center line, whereas, if the holes were placed differently, the water would fan out and spray all over the place. I have long, very heavy hair, and this is one of the very few hand held showers that will get the water deep into my hair. I have a water pressure valve at the water line to my house, so pressure is not a concern, but I have bought and given away a number of hand held showers that simply had a dribbling weak flow. Not with this hand held shower! Anyone who believes a hand held shower piece will improve the water pressure to their house is mistaken. A hand held shower piece works with the water pressure the water system gives it; it won't "cure" poor or low water pressure.

LOVE the shower head design
LOVE the shower head design.HOWEVER! I wasn't aware the handle/arm (dunno the technical term, sorry!) where you place the shower head doesn't actually attach to / screw in the shower metal pipe that comes out of the bathroom wall, but instead you have to screw it in the bathroom wall. For an old building appartment with crappy NYC faux walls, it was a PAIN getting that done!! I wouldn't have ordered it had I realized that. Also, since I have tiles on the shower wall, I had to attach it above it, and the handle doesn't fully tilt, so the angle at which he water comes out is kinda tricky. I can't take a shower with the shower head in the handle, I have to hold it in my hand, bc otherwise I end up with water everywhere over the shower curtains!!!If you don't have to deal with all these issues & limitations in your bathroom, then you're good to go. Like I said, I do like the design very much. It just comes with too many "IF's" that weren't clearly laid out / I wasn't expecting.

Hose does not stand up to brief use resolved; now small copper washer separates
Bought two of these for a remodel for my daughter's bathroom. We had it installed by a professional plumber but it leaked at the site where the hose met the shower head. He couldn't fix it. She tried Plumber's Tape and it slowed the leak so that it was useable. After less than a month of use one hose started separating from the shower head and within two more showers was completely useless. The second shower head had never been used and started to separate as soon as she picked it up. At this point the time for returning this product was over. We had to buy two new hoses from our local hardware store and my husband switched them. Both shower heads are now working like they should with no leaks. Of coarse we are out $44.00 for the replacement hoses but our daughter loves the shower head. The experience with the hose detracts from the quality of the shower head itself. Poor choice by VDOMUS of an add-on product.SECOND COMMENT 10/19/16 After no problems with daily use over 1.5 years the following photos are submitted and am seeking resources to order the part of the shower head between the shower head and the hose connection. The tiny copper colored washer has separated and now water is pouring out of this site. Seven attachments of this part:

From hotel to Home
On a visit to Portugal the hotel had one of these in the shower and I liked the fact that it was not bulky. When I returned home I searched for it on line and this one looked almost identical. I bought two. When I went to install them I noticed that when I separated the black wall bracket from the chrome holder that the small lip that locks the unit together chipped off. This happened to both units. That is not a big problem for me I just glued them back together. I hope that works! If it will fit the wall bracket that I have in the shower now.Our water pressure is not that great in our building I was hoping this would help, but not so much. I still like the design so I will keep them.Price and design work for me.
