I bought this item after experiencing early failure with another cheaper version. Faraday shielding is not easy, and the smallest flaw in the conductive fabric makes the thing useless! This pouch is a rigid box to address this issue, and therefore hopefully resilient, but at the time of writing, it is far too early to judge that, so the bulk is a trade off for resilience, as is the higher price. The pouch looks smart, which is a bonus. I think the product designers could have given more thought to what happens when you are driving and need the key to be visible to the car, as the pouch is very awkward when open and the key is outside of it on the end of the chain. For my particular key I found the provided key ring far too small, but this is easy to fix. It would probably be a bit cruel to say that "I bought this pouch so you don't have to", but it certainly could be better. I guess the real disappointment with all of these products is that the wilful negligence of the automotive industry has made them absolutely 100% essential if you care about your new car not being stolen with the use of a relay attack.

Feels like a quality, very well made item. Inside is padded, the RFID 'box' part is tough and solid, and seals well. My car won't open even with the key right by the handle in this case. Feels more durable than the cheaper velcro pouches that fail after a couple of months usage. Offers much better value for money.My only complaint is that the thickness renders it a bit chunky and cumbersome to pocket, and with the zip, opening the car becomes a 2 handed job. A small trade offf. Worth it for the RFID protection this provides though.As for size, it fits my Volkswagen key so closely it almost looks made for it. This is good. Means the key doesn't rattle around inside. I did have to swap out the included keyring for a full size one though.Overall a recommended item.

One is good, the other the zip broke first try, but we returned it and they were cool about that.No complaints about the one that's good, not sure if it actually works as I can't test it, but it probably works.

After just getting my new keyless entry car I wanted to protect it from thieves, I bought a selection of faraday pouches to see which would suit me best, this pouch is definitely the best looking and very sturdy, it fits my fob perfectly so it doesn’t rattle inside and blocks the signal, the only problem I am having with it is the thickness, it seems the thing that makes it sturdy is also the thing that is a problem for me, it is quite bulky so is a little uncomfortable when putting it into my pockets.
