It has more connections than expected but it works and looks cool… you have to make sure you’re connecting the right pin.

No sound from guitar with instrument cable plugged all the way in...have to pull cable out app.1/4" to 3/8" to get connection.UPDATE-I purchased one & gave a bad review after a guy installed it & it wouldn't work unless the instrument cable was 1/3 out of jack. Amazon sent another one & after ohm meter testing it was determined that a wire was not on the correct terminal causing the problem. Redirected wire to the correct terminal & it worked as it should!

I was tired of coiling up the attached cable from the pickup I installed on my acoustic guitar and tucking it inside and pulling it out of the sound hole. There were no instructions included with the end pin jack so I had to determine the pinout. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the tip’s solder connection was located next to the sleeve extension which secured the cable, making it difficult to solder.

Thought the cost was too low to be a quality product, but the specs and photos presented the correct size barrel and the correct inside to outside installation. Way good.

Installed on an old acoustic guitar and it felt a little cheap, installation instructions were absent. it was an inexpensive choice but I Would not purchase again and get something from a name brand

By far the best design for this type of product.

After installing one in my 12-string I discovered the lead 1/4 plug from my amp inserted OK, but there was room to push it in too far or not in far enough. The resulting connection is simply unreliable - sometimes there was signal and other times no signal at all. The same plug works fine in my other 2 guitars.

Just what I needed. worked well.
