Cute & fun just like I remember. Bit tricky to get the hang of, but a super great gift nonetheless

Kept young kids busy and quiet for hours! We had our extended family over for Mother's Day which included six young kids. Very rainy day, needed something to entertain the kids. This kit kept the kids busy for a very long time! Even the young boys made bead animals to give to their mama for Mother's Day! The instructions were printed in black and white on one 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Each animal instruction was a black and white image with numbers to indicate which color bead to use. The instructions were written in steps which require the ability to read. The directions did not show step by step details, it was a little confusing. But one of the mothers had experience and showed the kids how to place the ends of the rope in each side of the bead. This step was very confusing, an image or diagram should be included. But after the demonstration, the kids were busy creating critters for hours!

Kit was so fun to do with my 12 year old. I wish the instructions were better, we ended up using a tutorial on YouTube instead. This kit did have everything we needed though! And the quality was great!

I have bought this bead kit three times for gifts. They are always a big hit with the girls. It comes with string clamps and tools to make the perfect little friendship bracelets.

Tons of beads keeps my daughter very busy. Having a case is really nice for her projects. The patterns are easy to follow.

Loved the fact that this product was able to bring me back to my childhood! However things were better in the 90’s! The instructions in this kit were hard for an adult to figure out. I am worried that the kids I got this for during my daughter’s baby shower in the next 2 weeks won’t be able to figure out the patterns without the help of their parents. I had to look up YOUTUBE videos to be able to get the lizard done. The video shows it made slightly different than this kit shows you. The instructions were not clear at all on how the make the legs or ears of certain animals. Secondly I am a very organized person and if you are OCD about organizing your crafts this is not the kit for you! So many beads and nowhere to store them but plastic bags. The two boxes they give you for storage is only enough room for you to work on your projects with. So now I have multiple color beads in the same squares and have to dig for the color I need. Where other colors are stored in a separate plastic bag. My kit back in the 90’s had a blue suite case that came with that kit and was able to keep everything nice and organized. I am also not a big fan of the metallic pink and metallic purple colors. If you don’t have the greatest lighting they almost look like they are the same color. Had to bring them into the dinningroom table with natural sunlight to realize they weren’t the same color. I also found multiple broken beads in my kit between last night and this morning. On the other hand the amount of items in this kit and how many pets you can make is definitely worth the cash if anything I mentioned about doesn’t bother you.

Bought as a gift for an 8 year old girl. Easy enough with the right amount of challenge with the bead patterns

Es muy buena actividad para ahora en la cuarentena. Sin embargo las instrucciones no te dicen como hacer los nudos, terminar las figuras o empezarlas. Nos costó algo de trabajo entender lo que había que hacer. Las instrucciones vienen solamente en inglés. De allí en fuera, está bien porque es el kit completo. Los abalorios vienen contados para las figuras.

My 3 and 8 year old had a blast making different bead animal. Many option to follow on individual cards. Easy board to place bead to weave the cord through each bead in order. Really nice set
