The alarm clock has a large display and is easy to read. I love that I can adjust the lighting on the clock for the time of day, very low at night to reduce light pollution. The green color is less intrusive to the eyes. The clock has the option for a 24hr time, so if you choose to use this option, you will definitely never set your alarm for the wrong time! You can even charge off of the clock as it has a USB port on the back in addition to it already having a regular cord to plug the clock into the wall. Very happy, just wish I could change the alarm sound, but that is just a personal preference.

My eyes aren't what they used to be. The cable box clock wasn't cutting it anymore. It was time for a bigger digital clock that was also an alarm clock. I use my phone as a primary alarm and the clock as a backup. Works like a charm! I didn't need a radio or a bunch of little buttons that I couldn't see to set anyway.I found this little clock and I love it. The numbers are about three inches tall, which are easily seen from clear across the room. I can also control the brightness and I have the choice of blue or green. It also tells you the temp of the room. This is a feature I didn't think I'd care about but I find myself using it all the time. It also shows what time your alarm is set for and if it's on or off. Plus you get a usb port to charge your phone or other devices. Who can't use an extra usb port? The buttons are a good size and easy to push with my swollen arthritic morning hands.It has frills that are actually useful. And the price is right too.

Simple alarm, easy to set. Love that I can change the display so not so bright at night. Not fancy but does the job well.

First of all, I'd like to say how disheartening it is that every piece of Electronic Equipment you pick up is "Made in China" (or another Asian Country). What is it with Electronics, that every Electronic item on the planet has to be made in Asia!?! Are we Americans seriously that Stupid that we cannot even make our own Alarm Clocks!?! I'm one who would be glad to pay a bit more for any item that is "Made in America!".I did give this item 2 Stars, but only because the digital numbers are substantial in size, and they are also bright, therefore, this clock is easily seen from a distance. That, in a nut shell, is the entirety of the "good" part of this review, because every other part about this clock is subpar and very cheaply made junk!It's extremely flimsy made, with paper-thin like plastic. Just the amount of pressure needed to squeeze it to handle it and/or pick it up, flexes the whole back side of it. To say it is cheaply made, is definitely an understatement!The Temperature feature, with your optional choice of Fahrenheit or Celsius, is somewhat of an unusual feature on an Alarm Clock, but none the less, a very nice added feature. However, it can only be a nice feature if it gives you "accurate" results, but that is not the case. In my first few hours of having it, I monitored the reading of the temperature very closely for approximately 90 minutes, and during that time it fluctuated between 76F and 84F, an 8 degree difference, which that much of a disparity pretty much renders that feature totally useless in my opinion. And, during that 90 minutes, there was no change in my thermostat, no opening of any windows or doors, so nothing that would affect the real temperature in the room where it was.The Alarm Clock mode, or On/Off feature for it, is always showing either the Word "Off" or it displays the time you have the Alarm set for. This is also somewhat unusual, but a nice feature. However, I think the numbers & letters are much bigger than needed, about an inch high, and therefore, are a bit distracting when you glance at the clock.The soul reason I bought this Clock was because it displays either "AM or PM" at all times, which is rare. The majority of Alarm Clocks only display a small "Dot" to indicate PM, and show nothing at all for AM. I do not use this as an Alarm Clock in a bedroom, but instead I use it on a stand next to my recliner chair where I spend a good part of my time, since I'm an elderly person. As such, as I'm sure many can attest, we elderly will often doze off in our favorite chair for a Lil afternoon snooze. And, often being a bit disoriented for a few seconds when you first wake back up, that "Am or Pm" displayed on the clock can be extremely handy. However, once again, another feature that is absolutely 100% useless, and all because the size of the "Am/Pm" display is so incredibly tiny that I literally need to have my face about 2 feet away from the Clock in order to be able to tell if it is Am or Pm. This was the biggest disappointment for me, since that was my main reason for buying this particular clock. The size of the word AM and PM are literally about one eighth of an inch in height, and could/should have been at least a full inch. The Am & Pm display area, and the On/Off Alarm display area, should have been totally reversed in their perspective sizes, and that alone would have made this a better clock. If ONLY the AM and PM size would have been much bigger, that alone would have been reason to grant 4 Stars from me!I like Clocks in every room, so I do have a lot of them, and most are made with a wider bottom than the Top is, but not this one. This clock is not only the same thickness at the top & bottom, but it is barely over One Inch thick/deep, so it is very easily knocked over with the slightest bump of a hand or arm. And, if U happen to have a Sweet Kitty Cat as a family member, whom often like to jump up on night stands and tables, you can bet that this clock will spend some time flopped over on its face, due to the bottom being so narrow.I'm so shocked at how many 5 Star Reviews this piece of cheap junk received, but I guess my expectations are much higher than most. Personally, I would never recommend this Clock to others, as it was a huge disappointment X5 for me. I paid about $18 for it, and I'd say it is worth maybe $10 at most!
