Love me a good Caran d'Ache pen. My dad buys the limited editions pens throughout the year and gifts them to family. I have several of them and needed black ink for work (rather than the blue they come with). No scratching or smudging. Comfortable writing.

The Bastion brand is very strong and reliable. These refills are perfectly matched with the pens. I use my Bastion pen every week, I have dropped it many times, it just keeps going! Always reliable, smooth writing, goos value for money!

Came in a clear plastic bag, couldn't see when it was produced but works well for now.

Easy to install

Love the pen. Shame the gel refills can’t match the quality. The gel doesn’t flow consistently resulting in disappointing gaps in my handwriting. It happens regardless of pressure.

I was recommended this type of refil by a friend and when it works it is really nice and smooth but the problem is it's seems to take a long time to get the ink running smoothly (I've scribbled constantly to get the ink to flow) and even after a while of use it just keeps on stopping and out of frustration I have stopped using them and gone back to the traditional standard bastion refils. I may have been unluck but I'm not buying them again.

Fits perfectly. Very smooth. In doesnt smear. What more can you ask for in a pan refill? Excellent quality.
