Stealthy Gain Booster
I got two for a Sure MV7x and a knockoff SM7b. In both cases, it does what it says without introducing noise. But I do not have the GOLDEN ears others claim to have. I plug it right into the back of the mic and it looks ok. BTW you need phantom power for these to work. Very happy with these

Works better than a Fethead
I purchased a Triton Fethead and really didn’t notice a difference in my XLR mic setup…as in next to nothing. I had almost given up when I decided to try this brand.I am running in in between two XLR cables so it doesn’t stick out if the back of my preamp or too far out of my mic so it was an easy install. Once it was plugged in…I immediately noticed a difference and it was 10 times better than the Fethead. I was able to adjust my gain down at least a quarter of the way, if not more. There is no noise introduced and my mic audio is clear and clean.Super happy with my purchase. Not only does it sound better and work better than a Fethead but it was also thirty dollars less expensive. Huge win in my book!

Good volume increase with a little coloration.
Got this over the clark teknik because I liked the way the little bit of coloration sounded. I like it on my own voice as well and it helped reduce noise by raising my signal volume so I don't have to crank my gain as much.

SM7B + GoXLR Mini + Coda Stealth
After purchasing a used Triton FetHead from Amazon Warehouse and getting a broken unit, I decided to look around for alternatives. Luckily my timing on getting this set up was around Black Friday so seeing this pretty unknown item on sale for $24.99 vs FetHead's at $79.99 I had to give it a shot. There are just a few YouTube videos about this but they all praised it from the ones I saw. From doing sound tests with all different levels of gain and compression this thing is rock solid and adds a great amount of nice, clean gain for the SM7B to work with while going into a GoXLR Mini. I'm always interesting in trying a product that seems like an underdog and this really feels like one, this thing can compete with the FetHead any time.I went ahead and purchased a second one to just have in case because at the price I got it at it just made sense haha and even without the discount getting one of these for $50 and avoiding the really weird third party sellers selling FetHeads for half price (Chinese knock off's or referbs maybe?) this is a no brainer.

Blew Preamps on 2 interfaces
I bought 2 of these abut a year ago. They worked great at first but all of a sudden I noticed the preamp on my Focusrite interface was not working. I chucked it up to the interface being old since I'd had it about 5 years. So I bought a new Mackie interface. Everything was working quite well and I don't use it a lot. But noticed that one day I had to turn up the gain in OBS, which was unusual because with the in line booster I had plenty of volume and never had to add any before. So I didn't think much about it but then about 2 weeks later, tried to use the setup and nothing. Mic preamp is blown on my new Mackie interface. I tried different cable, mics, and both of the Coda Stealth units and got nothing. So be very weary of this product.

A Lot Of Gain For An Affordable Price
I Have A Shure Mv7x and This Was just What I Needed to Give The Gain I wanted. Just Make Sure You Have Phantom Power For Your Interface or Mixer for This.

Solid - no frills, just function
(I bought both the MB-1 and the MB-Stealth. The core of this review will be the same for both)I was looking to make an SM-48S hotter. I tripped over this, and - went for it.This isn't reaaallly meant for stage use, check the MB-1 (same company) if that's your goal. This plugs in inline straight into the bottom of the mic (or at the mixer end!) if you'd like. This *DOES* use phantom power, so if your mixer/preamp doesn't provide that, you'll have an issue. When unpowered, it's a straight pass-through.*for me* this is prefect. It's on a mic used for handpan and gong. I don't need shimmering high ends, I *do* need the bottom end not rolled off.Very nice implementation, truly plug & play. I figure that the electronics are the same in the MB-1, I didn't open them to check, as I'm returning the MB-1. I only need one, and I'll be keeping this one.Highly recommended. It does what it sets out to, and at this price point, you probably need more than one, just to have around. :)

Amazing, and phenomenal sound quality out of this little gizmo,!
Omg, just buy this thing! I sing with a big band, and I've been battling with equipment trying to get a decent sound that will boost my vocals at least even to a 15-piece orchestra. I plug this into my little four-channel mixer, and then went into my QSC 8, well I had been using the QSC before, it just couldn't compete with all the brass orchestration. Once I added this to my microphone, what an immediate and noticeable difference! Not only was I competing with, but I was singing above the entire band, without any effort, and with phenomenally clear and high fidelity sound! I was absolutely thrilled! And everybody in the rhythm section who was next to me, asked me what I had done different this week at rehearsal!! I'm going to buy another one just to have on hand for additional vocalists in my other bands. You need this item! Do not hesitate to buy it!
