New Stens Drive Ring 240-275 Compatible with Snapper 21" self-propelled mowers, 22" and 24" Two Stage snowblowers 1-0927, 2-3364, 7023364, 7023364YP, 704059

The New Stens Drive Ring was easily installed and compatible with my Snapper Snowblower. The existing drive ring had worn out and I needed a replacement quick. The shipment came quickly and the fitting was accurate to the OEM drive ring. Overall, the value for the money was great and this was helpful to have prior to the next snowstorm. No issues since installing (~2-3 snowstorms).

Stens makes great aftermarket parts that fit well like OEM, No issues what so ever replacing or fit and finish of part.

Easy to install and once they wear down, you will notice a decline in speed but once moving, my mower just creeped along. Replacement was a 5 minute task and then back to mowing! I have a Snapper self-propelled walk behind unit and I bought it in 1995. Sandy environments will accelerate the wearing of the rubber donut as it will abrade the tire when sand gets in between the rubber and the turntable drive assembly. Other than that, it is a pretty straightforward design and it does work. Also understand it fits other machines as well but I keep and inventory part number list of 'consumable parts' that will wear out and this makes re-order a lot easier.

We bought this to replace the old worn out belt on our Snapper self propelled mower. It had virtually become a push mower instead. Hub did the research and found it here at a much better price than the local shops. Easy to install as well.

If you love your Snapper walk behind mower as much as I do, you will appreciate the simplicity of their friction drive, and the fact that this piece is available and so easy to replace. My Mower is is nearing 40 years old and still running like a champ, but I was starting to experience the speed selector jumping, and/or the mower would stall when the bagger started to fill as the drive ring would slip. By replacing this drive ring original performance was restored, and the time it took to replace was very negligible. All that had to be done is the drive mechanism is removed from the axel drive by losening one clip, and pulling it off. Then you just need a small socket set and remove the bolts that goes through the three piece drive wheel. You remove the old worn rubber insert, replace with the new, and larger one, as it isn't worn down. re apply the bolts, slide it back on the axel, reattach the adjuster clip and you are ready to mow again.

The 26inch Snapper that needed this part was a real bear to dissassemble to get at the old (almost non existant) ring to put the new one in. But good quality and the price is outstanding!!!
