A great gaming rig!
I bought a Cyberpower not too many years ago, but it was time for an upgrade, especially since that computer wasn't able to upgrade to Windows 11... A simple fix, but decided a new computer was in order anyway. I'm not the most "up to date" gamer in existence, I play Counter-Strike GO and Madden 22 and a few new but not AAA games, but the games that I've tried running and cranking up all of the settings left me pretty happy; they all run perfectly well. I'm also pretty into emulation, and I've noticed a considerable upgrade in performance on just about every emulator I've tried: PCSX2, Dolphin, Yuzu, Xemu... I was pretty impressed. Another thing I was surprisingly impressed by is Windows 11. It looks and runs great, and isn't too different from Windows 10, which I've used for a long time now. I really like the UI; it's simple, but looks great. Of course, none of this has much to do with the system itself, but I would legitimately recommend Windows 11. At any rate, it wasn't like the horrible switch from XP to Vista, or Windows 7 to Windows 8. When it comes to goodies, you get a surprisingly high quality keyboard+mouse combo, with the keyboard being exceptionally nice. I doubt that it's anything overly fancy when it comes to the tech inside it, but it feels very satisfying to type on, especially coming fresh off a mechanical keyboard that clicked so loud I swear it was going to drive me to the asylum when I had to type for extended periods of time. You also get a mouse, and while it feels, looks, and works fine, I decided to stick to my vertical mouse that I got about a year or so ago... Seriously, if you're a gamer, you should check one of those out. To my surprise, there was actually a remote to flip through the colors of the fan lights, which is surprising only because the Amazon page here doesn't mention that at all. The fan lights of my old Cyberpower rig got extremely dim over the years, so I plan to just have the lights on occasionally to save them from stress. As far as Cyberpower is as a company, I have nothing but good things to say about them. You'll see some horror stories if you go to Reddit and what not, but both Cyberpower computers I've purchased were shipped perfectly intact, and my last computer still works to this today with minimal upkeep needed throughout the years. The only thing I did in the over 4 years I had it was add some thermal paste to the CPU and general dusting, and it still works perfectly well, so if this new computer chugs along the same way, I'll be more than satisfied. I decided to leave the tech support at 0, and it's not because it's terrible; I just haven't ever had to get in touch with them. Ever. I don't think it would be fair for me to rate it. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this computer and very satisfied with the purchase. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go install a few more games to try...

Great Value - 60fps and bank not broken
This PC performs and at least at the price I paid is worth as much or more than the sum of its parts, maybe the best value on the site on any given day. I get 60 fps routinely in highly modded Bethesda games, which can be a surprisingly difficult thing to do, but not for this build. I did update the graphics driver (not surprising) and was then ready to go. Everything arrived exactly as described on the site (purchased March 2022) with nothing missing, nothing broken, and nothing wrong. If you're trying to decide if you want this computer based on the specs that you see on the page then I'll say it is precisely as you see it, no more no less, and performs as you would expect (which is quite well), so you can consider those numbers reliable and set your expectations around them (or so says this one reviewer). I also learned I hate Windows 11 less than I thought I would (my first taste of that operating system is with this machine, it's not a problem). It's also quiet, has a manageable form factor, and is visually appealing (speaking of the RGB Case Lighting, configurable with its remote control). The mouse and keyboard that come with it are serviceable and you probably won't feel repulsed and want to replace them. The backlighting on the keyboard is a bit dim, but how much do you care? All in all I'm happy with this purchase and you likely will be also, if the specs on the page meet your requirements (they probably do).

Great Entry-Level Gaming PC
CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC (GXiVR8480A10) Price I paid: $1,199.99 + tax Build (your brands may vary) Motherboard: Gigabyte B560 DS3H AC ATX LGA1200 Processor: Intel Core-i5 11600KF 3.9 Ghz 6-Core/12-Thread Graphics: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12G (rev. 2.0) RAM: TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Storage: Western Digital Blue SN570 500 GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD; Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5” 7200RPM HDD Case: CyberPowerPC Onyxia II 242W w/ (4x) CyberPowerPC-branded 120mm ARGB Fans and APEVIA ARGB Controller w/ remote CPU Cooler: Cooler Master i71C Low-Profile Heatsink w/ 120mm ARGB Fan Power Supply: Thermaltake SMART 600-Watt 80+ Gold ATX Operating System: Windows 11 Home Keyboard: CyberPowerPC NOHI LED Wired Gaming Keyboard Mouse: CyberPowerPC M1-131 RGB Wired Gaming Mouse Mousepad: CyberPowerPC M0-101 Gaming Mousepad (free with product registration; mailed separately) TL;DR Good: Name-brand parts; no bloatware; 11600KF instead of the usual 11400F; RTX 3060 graphics card is good for 1080p gaming Bad: Included CPU cooler is inadequate for triple-A gaming and it needs to be replaced with a tower cooler, which will cost extra Good: I love that this computer comes with the 3.9GHz Core-i5 11600KF, while most computers at this level have the slower 2.6GHz Core-i5 11400F. The RTX 3060 works great for 1080p gaming and can render games at the highest in-game settings, and with ray tracing too (though I don’t much care for ray tracing). The keyboard and mouse are a nice extra. They’re comfortable to use and a decent beginner set, but how long they will last is a toss up. Bad: The included Cooler Master CPU cooler is inadequate to cool the CPU while running some triple-A titles. Maybe it’s because it’s the higher-powered Core-i5, maybe it’s because the graphics card dumps all its heat upwards onto the CPU heatsink. In any case, the PC would idle in the 30°s, but once I ran Cyberpunk 2077 and the graphics card got fired up, temps would jump to the upper 90°s and stay there. It would play for 5 or 10 minutes and then crash. Heeding other reviewers’ advice, I replaced the CPU cooler with a tower cooler and now Cyberpunk only reaches into the 60°s. It’s great CyberPowerPC opted for the heftier Core-i5 but disappointing they didn’t include a larger cooler for it. Frankly, I would have paid the extra $20 to save myself the trouble of replacing it and not have an extra CPU cooler I won’t use. Overall, if you can get this PC when its price is low, it is an excellent value for anyone looking for a good entry-level gaming PC and one of the best PC values I’ve seen on Amazon. FYI: There are two vents on the case for additional fans: an intake on the bottom toward the front of the case and an exhaust on the top toward the rear of the case. You could try adding fans to these vents and testing the temps before committing to replacing the CPU cooler, but you might be better off just replacing it (I did both). I used the Cooler Master MA612 Stealth ARGB, but cheaper alternatives are the Aresgame River 5 and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black. And for the vents I used a Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 Black on the bottom and a SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGB on top.

You cannot beat the specs for the price on this PC.
This is a perfect buy for a tech savvy person looking to get the best specs they can in a PC for the least amount of money. I am fairly computer savvy, so when I was looking for a new PC for games (was doing light gaming on my laptop previously) I was inclined toward building one myself, since back in the day when I was a more hardcore gamer prebuilt PC's were notoriously overpriced. After doing some research I concluded that the market has changed so much, it actually favors prebuilt PC's in terms of price vs performance at my price range (around $1k). I was having a hard time putting together a build that matched this PC just with the 3060 and CPU alone, but add in all the extras and the only way I can imagine matching this is if you manage to get all your parts at a very strong discount (or buying from disreputable sources). I was also quite impressed with the little things, it comes with a pretty decent keyboard and mouse. Not sure if that's listed here on amazon, but I did not know and was pleasantly surprised. They are nothing to write home about, but it's the thought that counts. I also did not find a single program of bloatware besides the normal windows 10 garbage, seems like they were quite thoughtful to what a tech literate person wants from a computer like this. My only con is I noticed a very small sound coming from what appears to be one of the case fans (not the cpu or gpu fans) for about 10-15 seconds after initially booting up, so I did not notice until recently. It runs silently after that though, so I'm not too worried about it. Worst case scenario I have to replace a case fan at some point, which should not be intimidating if you are looking buy a PC like this. Overall I was very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of it. It's very well put together and packaged.

Great computer
Thisis my first reveiw,so bear with me. I am not expert compouter person. This computer was easy to set up. After unpacking and pulling out packing and a quick check that all was plugged in well. I Pluged a monitor in a LG27GP950-B that was a gift. Plugedin the keyboard and mouse. updates were fast and complete. Monitor can refesh at higher than grafics card but card goes without clocking to120hz crisp clean and sharp grafics. I gave it high marks like I said I am not an expert and the is nicest Pc I've had in a long time. Little over my price range' but I wanted to get something that would match the nice monitor gift I had. and this seem to do that. Have not run any games on it yet, I am only game once in a while, some picture editing which this is great for, and web site work, which most pc could do, this is nice to work with easy on the eyes so far. I took a picture of the back because in all the review and other places there were none. well thats it for now I'll come back if there are troubles. None sofar. Maybe if you were a high tech gamer youd want something more but seems pretty good to me so far.

This experience made me write my first review in years
This is my first review in over 3 years. I always take any issues or losses on the chin. However, this was honestly a horrible experience and I want to share my story so that the next person will be aware. TL;DR 1) You're going to overheat and this PC will crash playing any game. It could literally be Minecraft on all low settings. I'm serious. 2) The seller does not care. 3) If you threw out the box but ending up needing to return the PC due to the defect that it came with, they are going to charge you. 4) The seller is extremely unprofessional and rude. If you're willing to spend over $1K on this machine, then turn around and spend more money to fix their scam of a CPU "cooler", while also avoiding having to ever communicate with the seller, then roll the dice on buying this. However, I highly suggest you take the time to read my review. I'm writing this to help you as much as I can so that you won't end up like me. First, this pc arrived in a bright orange Cyberpower box that clearly showed what was in it. Normally if something is going to arrive in packaging that reveals what it is, Amazon will provide an option to put it in a regular box. I don't know if this misstep was on Amazon or the seller, but it definitely was a surprising sight to see. If you live in an area where someone may take your package, you need to be ready to bring the box in your house ASAP. Not to mention, the seller added a signature request on this item. Well, the carrier dropped it off and added my name on the signature even though I literally did not sign for it. So, this already had a frustrating beginning, but I wasn't blaming the seller yet. Set up the PC, and as most of you probably are expecting to do, I downloaded a few games to test them out. I was so excited! The specs seemed amazing, and I was ready to try out some games. This was a $1400 gaming pc after all. First I tried Apex Legends on high settings. The PC overheated and crashed. Completely crashed. Tried again on low settings. Overheated, and the game crashed. Tried Minecraft on high and low settings. Yep. Crashed. I used a CPU monitoring program and literally watched all cores go up to 100 degrees Celsius. Then I'd be staring at a black screen again. This was a $1400 PC. And it was my first day using it. By the way, it IDLES at 60+ degrees! Anyway, I played these games on medium settings on my eight year old pc with no problems...and never going above 58 degrees Celsius. Hmm. How do you build and market a machine as being a "Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC" that can handle ray-tracing when you actually can't. play. games. on. it? In fact, you better be careful watching a YouTube video in your browser because you're already going to be at 70 degrees. I WISH I was joking. So, I reached out to the seller and left a detailed message about the issue I was having, along with asking if I could return it if I bought (out of my own pocket, after already purchasing a $1400 PC...) a CPU cooler and the defect persisted. Their response was one line. Didn't greet me, didn't address the issue, didn't apologize, nothing. I worked in customer service for years, so you can imagine my shock with how horribly underwhelming and unprofessional their response was. I thought it over for a few days, trying to decide if I wanted to deal with a barely functioning $1400 "gaming" pc AND poor customer service. I ended up deciding I wanted to just send them their product back and be free of this experience. Only one problem... I didn't have the original box anymore. I figured I'd just message them asking if they could send me the packaging, or if I could go buy my own proper packaging for it so that I could complete this return. I was still well within the return timeframe. This time I was greeted with a "Dear Customer" and was told no, and that they were going to charge me a restocking fee. The audacity was astounding. I would pay a restocking fee to give your product back to you in the same exact (defective) condition I received it? Just because it would be in a brown box and not your orange box? Well. At this point I felt scammed. Computer didn't work. Horrible customer service. Pay them to give their product back. Or pay (again) to get a different CPU cooler than the one that this company installed. I was so disgusted with this experience, I bit the bullet and came out of pocket to purchase an actual cooler. Then I paid (again) for a professional to do the swap, because God forbid I messed something up during the process and end up in an even worse situation than I was already in. If you are getting this computer, understand that you are going to open your wallet up again to fix this huge oversight (or rather, a purposeful decision on behalf of Cyberpower so they can take a lot of your money while saving theirs). Also understand that this seller is literally of no use. They must be getting hundreds of messages like mine so they stopped caring, or they are severely under-trained. Either way, they are clearly happy making bank off us while we deal with the stress. The excitement I felt when unboxing this, ready for my first PC upgrade in eight years, ready to play my favorite games with friends, ready to finally play something on decent graphic settings without lag- all that excitement quickly turned into frustration and regret. I still can't believe this happened. The reviews about the cooler are real. It will happen to you. I just can't believe this was so bad that I have to waste my time writing this review. But I hope this helps the next potential buyer know what to expect.

With the price of parts lately and the lack of time to spend sourcing and building, this was the best option for my needs and at a reasonable price, $1,200 out the door. Overall I'm pleased with the build and quality, satisfied with my purchase. Only negative atm is the lacking RGB control, only way to currently control the lights is by pressing a button on the case and cycling through the options. I would need to take some extra steps (RGB not connected to the motherboard currently) to be able to control the lighting via software but meh, I don't really care about the lights to go any further than pressing a button. I just wanted the option to have a static color that doesn't turn my office into a rave party.

An excellent prebuilt PC
This is the first time I've bought a pre-built computer in 23 years, usually I like to buy the components and build it myself. But since graphics cards were (at the time of purchase) generally unavailable except at ticket scalper prices, I ended up getting this. It's been really good. Every component was at or slightly better than what's listed on the tin, everything was assembled competently, and the cable management was decent to boot. I've very much been enjoying getting new games knowing that my computer can handle it and not even having to look at the spec requirements. There's not much to complain about, but I'll try. Despite having an AIO water cooler for the CPU, it can be a -bit- noisy, just owing to the sheer number of fans--3 in the front, 2 on the radiator, 2 on the GPU, 1 on the power supply, for a total of 8. They all run at low speeds and it definitely isn't like the old AMD Athlon days when it sounded like it was taking off, but it's a bit buzzy. Even when off, there's an RGB LED on the motherboard that cycles through its colors, which is bright enough to see from the next room. Also the front panel USB doesn't seem particularly solid, it flexes quite a bit when inserting or removing some USB devices. Probably the most minor list of problems I've ever had for any computer. The included keyboard is not particularly "mechanical feeling" like it advertises, but the keys are big and the key travel is deep, and it even has a scroll wheel in the corner that controls the system volume. I've been using it pretty happily. Overall, nice job on the builders' part. If this suits your needs, get it, the folks who made it clearly care about quality.
