This box worked wonderfully for what i wanted it to. I used it to physically disconnect and connect two monitors on my pc so i can run 1,2 or 3 monitors at the push of a button. Is great depending on what im working on, or gaming.

It's important to be aware that this is internally wired as a direct passthrough, which means you can either switch between two VGA/RGB sources, or two VGA/RGB monitors. I use this to hook my MiSTer up to a VGA monitor and an RGB CRT and it works perfectly. For the tinkerers out there, this is a very simple circuit and should take minimal effort to repair if one of the buttons ever fails.

Very simple and sturdy device - two VGA cables in from different computers, one cable out to a monitor, and two buttons to change source from one computer to the other. Unlike many of the other VGA selectors on Amazon, this one does NOT need any additional power cable or USB connection to function. The case allows screwing in the cables to avoid loose connections. This device does not come with any VGA cables, so you need to already have 3 VGA cables to use it. For some reason the box it comes in has a picture of a different product on one side (a white device with a foot switch I it looks like) but the correct product is shown on the other side of the box.

It's a VGA splitter that just works! No interference, no ghosting. Not really much else to say. Works perfect and is a lot better than those old metal beige ones us computer nerds used to use!
