I was honestly surprised by how well this worked! My cat usually scratches like crazy whenever it’s bath time, and it always turns into a full-on battle. This time, I used these little shower boots and it made the biggest difference. He didn’t scratch at all in the shower and actually stayed calm the whole time. The boots fit snugly on his paws, didn’t fall off, and didn’t seem to bother him once they were on. I also like that they’re easy to clean and reuse — I just rinsed them off afterward and they looked good as new. I got this a few years ago to calm my cat and help with cutting her nails. It falls off from wiggling and running away her paws just slide out no matter how tight you make it. It is a waste and don’t get me started on the shower. I thought I just need to practice with it and keep giving it a try but no I’m done.

First time cats will chew and destroy these. So maybe get the one with the muzzle included while your cat gets use to them. Other that they stay on pretty well and the velcro is strong enough.

These are literal life savers. I have a 13-14 pound cat that has some anger issues and a nasty habit of getting lumps and clumps all over the back of his fluffy legs. He has a tendency to scratch (even though I clip his nails regularly), and if he gets ahold of me, he goes for blood. He's my baby but he's a mean dude when I get near his rump for any reason. I think he's just shy of his butt, I don't know. These are easy to put on, they fit his massive paws with no issue, and the velcro is STRONG! These have saved me from any unnecessary injuries while trying to help my baby boy out. I would recommend these to any other pet parent that struggles with those murder mittens. This was a nice idea but unfortunately, my cat is a little crazy so it didn't stay on her feet very well. They were so heavy that my cat couldn't walk. Easy to clean because it's rubber but just does not fit.

These are incredible, I was finally able to bathe my cat. She is a country kitty, spending much time outdoors and in poison ivy, chiggers, rolling on the ground where the skunk spray is, but she also loves to cuddle. So she needed a bath and would claw me to ribbons trying to bathe her. Now I can clean her safely.

The silicone booties look good but are useless for kittens above the age of 3 months
