FEL-PRO 26185 PT Head Gasket

Was happy to find this as a stand-alone gasket after requiring a last minute replacement and buying a full set prior. Arrived safe in very large box, which was a little obnoxious, but holding up so far! Fel-Pro will likely be my go-to for gaskets always. They feel and look durable and have worked like a charm.

I can see why this one is the highest rated Head Gasket. It's a huge job putting on a head gasket especially if a head bolt breaks, so for 20 bucks you want the best gasket.

Single best 22RE head gasket there is. Far and away superior to the Toyota OEM / Stone head gasket. I called and spoke to the engineers at Fel-Pro and they explained that this gasket utilizes Kevlar fibers (if I recall correctly) and also Telfon to help ensure longer light and better sealing. As long as you ensure the block and head are perfectly flat, then this head gasket is the way to go.I've run this gasket over 20,000 miles on my 22RE and so far not a single issue.

Worked for decades before, seems different than the one I'm swapping for with a bit. Be very careful like I was, the surface is sticky & prolly better than old ones. Glad I had everything clean b4 I opened the package, prolly will seal awesome.

I purchased this fel-pro gasket for my 1985 4runner 22re. The gasket fit perfectly and so far I've had no issues with it after about 1500 miles.

Good product, I bought this item seperately from the kit I bought to fix my vehicle. Fel-Pro is the way to go for the head gasket.

Never had a problem with these felpro permatorque gaskets. Used them once on a SBF 408 stroker and a couple times on toyota 22re motors.
