Product is great, price is great, I'm Persian and I use Persian saffron on a regular basis, this is the first time I purchased Spanish Saffron, the Saffron is just as good as Persian Saffron great color, great aroma and great taste, I will buy it again specially from this seller with outstanding customer service & Product

When the package containg the saffron, we could smell the saffron before opening the package. It was wonderful! We opened the acrylic box containing the saffron and the product was exceptional. Texture, color, odor, and taste were fantastic. It had no dirt, foreign particles, etc. just saffron. The box was even dated:August 2016. We received it March 2017. So we knew it was relatively fresh. We transferred the saffron into a small glass jar with a metal top to help keep it fresh longer.

I am a frequent user of saffron, and have tried every variation I can find. This saffron passes the authenticity test. The price is certainly on the lower end. However, I had to take off a star because it is missing a bit of that powerful flavor that anyone who uses this knows and loves. Fantastic if you are cooking for a huge crowd, or on a budget and need authentic saffron, but the discerning palate will want to look for a higher quality Iranian product (often referred to as Persian for marketing).

Did not meet the expectations as it stains the tongue/teeth. After soaking the strings turns whitish orange. Aroma is okay not the best. Overall its not worth the price.

Okay, it is saffron, more expensive than some and less expensive than others. I give it 5 stars because it is clearly superior to other saffron I have purchased. I was hesitant because of the price but glad I took the chance. I could tell immediately from the color and aroma that it was superior to the last saffron I purchased at a slightly lower price.
